Cool light filled double room. Situated on a quiet street in a beautiful rural township in SE Qld. Located 3 blocks from shops. A 20 minute drive from nearest bigger town, clubs,movies.
Because we are in the country you may encounter spiders or frogs, sometimes flies. We do our best to keep our home bug and creature free. We don't always win.
Our water is extremely hard -calcium and lime- hard to keep it under control.
Tank water and filtered water and bottled water available for drinking

Important.Don’t drink the water from the taps in the bathroom, laundry or the outside taps. Only drink water out of the water cooler in kitchen, (filtered water) or from cold water bottles in fridges.
You are welcome to use the kitchen, just clean up after yourself.
Coffee/tea sugar etc. in cupboard top right hand side of stove. Long life milk in same cupboard (we don’t use milk.)
Please pat our dog if you wish but do not feed them.
If you require the use of any tools Please ask otherwise shed is out of bounds.
To use TV in room
switch on at switch behind bed head, use AIKA remote to turn on. TV set needs to be on AV1 again Aika remote because TV is analog it requires a set top box. Select desired channel by the set top (hills remote)
To watch a DVD (huge selection available) turn DVD player on, switch on front left side the front will light up blue, switch TV to AV2 (Aika remote) the remote for DVD is GVA.
Breakfast Please inform us as to what time and what you would like for a light breakfast.
To use coffee machine turn on at top flush by bottom light, lift chrome handle, put in coffee capsule close handle then use middle light. Small coffee cups in cupboard above machine TO STOP MACHINE AT ANYTIME JUST PRESS THE SAME LIGHT YOU PRESSED LAST.
Or plunger coffee. Coffee in fridge door top left, plunger in cupboard where coffee/tea is kept.
Laundry.You are welcome to use the laundry
Washing machine Please ask for instructions.
Iron kept in laundry cupboard.
Dryer only in e emergency ( clothes line out the back is covered for all weather.)
ShowersWe have water restrictions so we ask for short showers PLEASE
If you can’t find what you are looking for just askus, we will probably have it.
Other mealsMeals can be arranged with notice (what we are having) a small cost is involved
InternetWI FI is available please ask for login instructions. Please no huge downloads, no movies.

Keys are available to the front or back doorwe always use the back door as it is closer to parking, however the dogs are very friendly.
Parking in front of caravan however please leave enough room to walk through.
If you have dirt or mud on your shoes please leave outside door, if using back door put them up in case Bella takes a liking to them.
Please respect our neighbors by keeping the noise down to a reasonable level.
Please do not feed the dogs (bella Smaller Digger larger)
NO large internet downloads (Movies etc)
NO COOKING, FOOD OR DRINK in ROOM
NO BURNING CANDLES OR INCENSE IN ROOM due fire risk. Please keep screen doors closed and locked at all times. Feel free to come and go as youplease.

Movies: a good story line. I liked "War Horse"," Australia." "Notebook" "Shine" "The King's Speech" "Unbroken"
Music: Music that is music, not noise, classical music, music up till the 70's and only the odd piece since then.
Food: Home made, from scratch, using fresh food, especially from my garden - as near to nature as possible.
We love people, we love learning from people, we love learning about other cultures, their history, their food. We love to listen, converse, share what we have , enjoy living.
