Right in front of the beaches of Lavagna, this classic apartment with free parking below was built in the 12th century has large, shuttered windows that
(and free parking below) overlook the sea and the main plaza, and is right across the street from the beach and 3 minutes walking distance from the train station. The apartment is on the first floor (one floor up) and is served by an elevator.
The apartment has four bedrooms (two with a queen-size bed and two with twin beds), features a large living room/dining room, a small but functional kitchen, a secondary 'breakfast' dining room right next door, and a small balcony off the kitchen. This is the perfect and much needed place to hang your towels and swimsuits after a day at the beach and of course, your laundry (there is small laundry room attached to the balcony).
The living room features the dining table for amazing Italian dinners - you can open up the windows lining the room and let the live music in from the plaza below.
Please note that the fixtures in the bathroom and simple kitchen are older, but everything works very well.
The neighborhood is a cute and sunny part of this historic town, with a true vibe of the Italian Riviera.
The walking streets below the apartment are filled with restaurants, cafès and shops.
And in just a minute, right across the road, you are along the waterfront and the private beaches where you can rent umbrellas and loungers, and where you can dine 'al fresco' right in your swimsuit. Additionally, the apartment is close to the one best European tourist harbors, which sees a lot of sailboat activity.
The name Lavagna is the name of a blackboard stone, which is very abundant in this region of Liguria.
And Cinque Terre is very close heading eastward and is just a 30 minute train ride away to the first stop, Monterosso.
And famous Portofino well-known for attracting the Italian elite, and is 30 minutes by car.
