Newly fitted out 58 sqm (620 sf) one-bedroom condo at Parkview Tower, a 40-storey glass building that sits atop the Eastwood Mall. The building boasts of resort-style amenities, elegantly appointed lobby with 24/7 concierge and security.

The condo unit has a spacious living room with granite flooring, comfortable 2- and 3-seater sofas, a stone accent wall, 42-inch HD cable TV, and a split-type aircon. Large glass windows and window treatments provide a bright, airy and homey feel. Relax at night with cozy cove and pin lighting that spell elegance. A wifi internet is readily available to keep you connected.

The galley-style kitchen is elegantly designed with plenty of cupboard space and spacious granite counters. Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, 2-burner electric stove, rice cooker, electric kettle, cookware, dinnerware, flatware, glassware and kitchen utensils.

Outside the kitchen and across the living area is the mirrored dining area that can accommodate up to 4 people. Complete with glass-topped dinner table, a 2-seater bench and 2 tufted dining chairs, plus an elegant lighting to make all your meals an enjoyable one. Buffet table is available should you find the need for extra serving space.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, side table and drawers with reading lamp, a desk, a dresser, and a package-type aircon. It has a huge window overlooking the Marikina River and Rizal mountain ranges, as well as a partial city view.

Bathroom has modern design with separate shower stall with hot and cold water, huge wall mirror, storage and cabinets. The toilet is equipped with a hand bidet. The lavatory has a rectangular sink with black granite surround. Hair dryer is provided for your use during your stay.

It is also worth mentioning that, at the other side of the kitchen, you will find a laundry area equipped with a spin-dry washing machine ready for your use, should you decide to do your own laundry and/or multi-task while cooking!

The building has a small gym and a swimming pool at the podium deck at the 5th level.

Parking is not included but it is available on a daily rental basis at the basement level of the Eastwood Mall.

Check in process will be provided in advance a week before your scheduled stay. Access to amenities is restricted to guests and tenants. Access pass and codes will be provided to confirmed guests upon check in.

1. Check in normally at 3pm earliest, check out normally 12pm latest. Early check in and late check-out can be arranged, subject to availability.

2. All utilities (water, WiFi internet, cable TV and electricity) are included in the rental rate. Since electricity is included in the daily rate, we ask the guests/tenants to please turn off aircon and electric switches when you leave during the day.

4. Please note that the Building Administration requires a copy of the guests IDs. We need to obtain this by or before check in. Only guests whose names were submitted to the Building Security and Building Administration offices are allowed to sleep inside the unit. If there are additional persons to be accommodated, please inform the host.

5. WiFi access information to be provided upon turn-over of keys.

6. No smoking and no pets. Smoking is allowed in designated areas of the building.

7. We request that all furniture and appliances be used with reasonable care. All cutlery and utensils should be washed and kept clean after use. Garbage is placed inside refuse/recyclable bags and disposed of accordingly. There is a scheduled daily pick up of garbage at regular intervals during the day to be provided to the guest upon check in.

8. Daily housekeeping/maid service is not included in the rental rate. Housekeeping service can be arranged at US$15.00 per request. Please let us know in advance if you will avail of housekeeping services.

9. One-time set-up of linens and towels. For monthly rental, extra beddings, linens and towels will be provided.

10. The guests will be responsible for their personal laundry. There is a laundry area within the unit. Washer and Spin dry only.

11. Guests will have to buy/bring their own toiletries (soap/shampoo/toothpaste/etc) and other consumables. A 7-Eleven is located across the building. Groceries and supermarkets can be found within the area.

Great location, fantastic views, and almost amazing apartment. The location for the apartment is perfect, right next door to the Eastwood mall and across the street from Citywalk mall. The apartment overlooks the Citywalk mall and surrounding area. The view at night was breathtaking as well as the view of the surrounding mountains. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you are not wanting to cook. During check-in my wife noticed there was nothing in the apartment to get us started, not even toilet paper. When renting this apartment remember to bring all essentials as you would need at home. The assistant to the owner immediately turned on all the fans in the apartment which seemed to hide the fact the air conditioning did not function properly, this is something I will get to later. The other issue is there was an odor in the apartment. The assistant pointed out a scented candle, but as you guessed it there were no matches provided to light said candle. After a couple of days there I contacted the host about the air conditioning for the apartment. The apartment was hot and humid and the air condition in the bedroom was extremely loud. The host arranged for the building maintenance to come check out the units one morning only to find they were clogged with dust. The host had assured me they were cleaned and serviced before our visit. After maintenance cleaned the bedroom unit it was quieter and was able to slightly cool the room during the day. At night cooling the bedroom was not a problem. For the air condition in the living room they found it not to be working as it should. I relayed this information to the host but the host never arranged for the living room unit to be repaired. We eventually bought at our expense an air cooler to help keep us somewhat comfortable in this large room. Needless to say we were uncomfortable from the heat and noise during our entire 2+ week stay. There were other issues with the apartment but were probably due to the upkeep of the building. The first being water pressure. There were times when taking a shower was out of the question since the water pressure was too low to push the water to the shower head. Another issue is with roaches. Like another reviewer mentioned there are these tiny roaches in the apartment. I did notice the apartment is across the hall from where the trash gets collected for that wing of the floor. We also spent plenty of time waiting on an elevator. There are four elevators for the building but only two were operational during our stay. There were times where we spent more than five minutes waiting on an elevator. After checkout, the hosts sister rudely texts my wife and blames us for damaging the laundry room door and that there are two missing glasses. The glasses were our fault and I had no problem...

A promising transaction that ended up as an unpleasant experience for us. This could have been avoided if guests seriously read through the rental policies and if they communicated prior to making their reservation any questions/concerns. So that, if we would not be able satisfy their requirements, we would have a chance to decline the booking. As a basic courtesy, we expected them to comply with our house rules regarding number of guests/visitors and the prudent use of the property which they failed to observe. They could have at least informed us of damages during their stay so we could have acted on it immediately. More than a month before their stay, Neil booked the place and we gladly accepted. It was an easy booking – minimal communications, no questions/concerns raised before check-in. However, upon turn-over of keys to the wife, Grace, it became evident that we would be dealing with an irrational and difficult guest. She made no qualms in giving negative comments, nitpicking on every detail. Why are there electric fans? Why only two set of towels, no extra beddings? Despite that she is a local resident and should be aware that April and May are the hottest months in the country, we explained that fans were provided to help redistribute cold air from the two aircons should daytime heat becomes unbearable. We also reminded her that the rental policy only agreed to provide extra towels/beddings for those staying for at least a month – not for shorter stay. A washing machine is provided should they need to wash the bed/towel set. Our listing also made clear that guests are responsible for their own toiletries. On the second day, Neil sent a message that they would like to cancel their stay because the fans are loud and they did not want to have to use them. I told him that we declined earlier guests requesting to extend their stay because of their confirmed booking, and should they proceed to cancel, we would have to enforce our booking policy which would mean forfeiture of payment. We didn't want this to happen so we offered to send the Maintenance staff to check the aircons, one of which they ended up servicing ahead of schedule. No communications thereafter and we assumed everything went well. Upon check out, we learned the following: 1.Laundry door was broken. 2.Glassware missing. 3. Some glassware/utensils we kept in a separate place for our personal use were taken and used without permission. We provided glass/dining/kitchenware adequate for two guests but they required more. 4.Bathroom sink clogged with bar soaps. 5.Their niece, who they allegedly asked to stop by to return the keys as they had to leave early, seemingly stayed at the unit. She did not hide that fact from us as she came out fresh from the shower and was brushing her teeth when we picked up the keys. We relayed these to them but they denied having knowledge of the broken door and instead came back to us with a litany of their complaints.

The place is exactly like it is pictured. The place was comfortable and clean, the air conditioning was working well, and the condo is in a great location right next to the mall; when you walk outside of the lobby, the mall entrance is to your left. Arranging check in/check out was easy. The laundry machine inside the unit wasn't working, which I wasn't aware of when I booked the condo. Letty did offer to reimburse us if we used a laundromat.

This is my second stay at Letty's apartment and most likely not my last. It meets all my needs and so I plan to stay here everytime I visit family in QC.

Great apartment - spacious and clean. Recommended especially if they are able to improve airconditioning, which probably just needs cleaning.

The unit is very cozy and spacious. You will feel at home once you entered the unit. The location is very nice, you are literally next door to the mall. The host is also very accommodating. Letty has been very prompt in responding to emails and messages theu airbnb. Her sister Anna has been very helpful also from turning over the key to us, to the point of checking out.

Here is my experience: Positive: 1. Great location. The condo was situated above Eastwood Mall where an abundant number of restaurants and retail stores can be found. A money changer center is conveniently there as well. Need to do some food shopping? Right across is Robinsons grocery. So easy. 2. Great view. High up on the 23rd floor it's as if you can see forever. 3. Strong wifi, nice sized ref, good kitchen amenities, hot water in the shower and a towel was provided. Negative: 1. Laundry machine was not working. I found out about this after I had paid for my stay. 2. The door had two locks, one of which was not working. Tintin warned me not to use the top lock because it has a tendency to remain locked. Sure enough, I still mistakenly used it and got stuck inside the condo (had to call a locksmith to get me out). Although I was warned, I hoped the lock was fixed before my arrival so this sort of situation never even happened. 3. Weak aircondition in the living room and bedroom. Even on full blast I mostly had to sleep without any blanket. On one night I slept on the sofa and positioned the AC to point directly at me. And this was at night time. During the afternoon when the sun is high the condo will get warmed up since the AC couldn't handle the heat. The one electric fan helped a bit. 4. There were roaches in the bathroom and kitchen. Yuck. 5. Although advertised as included, parking was not part of the deal. I emailed Anna and asked her to inform Eastwood management to allow me use of the parking spot. She informed me that the space has been leased out to someone. So now everytime I parked I had to pay. 6. The floor buttons inside the elevators work .. sometimes. Some buttons need to be pressed repeatedly. Or pressed with just the right amount of pressure. Or sometimes would require a lady's touch to work. I know, it's weird. But this was my experience as well as the other people I rode the elevator with. 7. On the day of my checkout Tintin was suppose to arrive at 7 am so I could turnover the keys. She arrived an hour and 15 minutes late. "Traffic," she said. I don't believe her. This was Sunday during the early morning hours. And when I took my ride to the airport there was definitely no traffic at all. None. Took me 20 minutes to get to NAIA. Traffic? Yeah, riiight.

Listing exactly as described. Host was extremely helpful and all communication was very prompt. Would recommend, and would happily stay again.

We love to travel and a perfect place to stay is always at the top of our list when we are away. Warm, home-y, convenient, tasteful, safe...and fun. Those are the key words that would describe what we look for in a place to stay. And those are what we had in mind when we decided to offer our condo unit. It is a very personal thing for us.
