À propos de ce logement
This is a centrally located, bright, airy, comfortable and separate 320 sq ft tiny guest house. It comes equipped with a memory foam mattress in the sleeping loft, a kitchenette, claw foot tub/shower, WiFI, and TV, and outdoor patio/garden access. Close to bus/ MAX/bike paths. Sleeps 2 comfortably, +1 on couch or extra mattress. Recommended for adults. No children under 8.
Everything about Chez Rosette has been designed for your comfort. I thought about what was important to me when I travel, and that's what I have created here.
Number one priority: a comfortable mattress, cotton sheets and good pillows. (We have several pillows to choose from.) It's important to get a good night's sleep. The neighborhood is quiet, albeit still urban.
If there are more than 2 guests, I have an air mattress or bedding for the couch as sleep options. The sleeping loft is open, so it's not private. The ladder is easy to navigate but could be a challenge for older people and because of insurance, no children under 8.
The bathroom has both tub and shower - sometimes, you just want to take a relaxing tub.
There is plenty of daylight, but the shades and curtains make it dark in case you want to sleep in.
The couches are comfy. There are books to read, Roku for the TV, and the table is large for eating, playing games, spreading out, working on your computer or drawing.
The kitchenette is small and everything is easy to use. The induction stove gets pulled out and plugged in if you want to cook. There is also a microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle and French Press coffee makers for basic daily needs.

The Alameda neighborhood is beautiful, accessible to all areas via car, bus or MAX, quiet yet city-like with Beaumont Market 2 blocks away, Pizzicato, Jim & Patty's Coffee, Bagel Land, Grand Central Bakery and Small Wares, a Portland stand out restaurant. There is also the local hangout McPeets for a beer, BlackBird Wine and Atomic Cheese, Daruma Sushi, Jim & Patty's, Grand Central Bakery, Batter, Starbuck's, NoHo Hawaiian, Cha Cha Cha Mexican and Hoda's Middle Eastern all within 5 minutes walking distance.
I have a German Shepherd named Stella who is around. She is a great watch dog, but also very friendly.

I live in the main house and am usually here. The washer and dryer are available, as is anything else you may need. I know Portland very well, so if there's anything you want to know - I can usually help!
If I am not here, someone else will be available to help.
Beaumont Wilshire is a lovely, residential neighborhood with great shopping, restaurants, bars, parks and Beaumont Market, which is open til midnight.
Located 2 blocks to the bus to the Hollywood MAX Station, or a 15 min walk to MAX. Across the street to the bus down Fremont.
Ample street parking in front of the house.
Easy access to all major highways for day trips to the Gorge, Coast or anywhere around.
There is ample street parking right in front of the main house.
Checking in late is not a problem.
The gate can be a little bit finicky so be sure it's latched when you leave. If you're not sure about garbage and recycling, please ask!
