Welcome to my 2 bedroom flat with original wooden flooring throughout, high ceilings, large sash windows and charming features on a desirable quiet residential street in Kennington. The flat has a large lounge, dining area, kitchen, double bedroom, single bedroom, a seperate study and a bathroom with bath/shower.
It is very convenient for central London. The property is fifteen minutes from Leicester Square by tube. There is a bus stop two minutes away with buses that will take you to Waterloo Train station and the Southbank with its restaurants and bars on the river Thames in 10 minutes.
There are two supermarkets within a two minute walk. Local restaurants include gastropub The Crown & Anchor, Italian coffee and cake house Dolcezza, SW9 Sushi, Adulis (Eritrean), Oval Tandoori and the Oval Lounge. There are plenty more restaurants and cafes in both Brixton and Kennington.
Brixton is a 5 minute bus ride away. Its a great local neighbourhood with live music (O2 academy), markets, a cinema and bundles of energy. Kennington is 10 minutes walk away and boasts a great park, restaurants, shops and pubs. There is a Farmers market every Saturday in the church grounds next to Oval station. The Imperial war museum is 10 minutes on the bus.
Another big attraction is the Oval cricket ground, just an 8 minute walk away.
The flat has one good sized double bedroom with wardrobe space and a single bedroom with shelving and a bedside table. It has a comfortable lounge with a TV and plus very fast fibre optic internet access. Attached is a dining space with a table and 4 chairs. I will greet you at the property and leave you to enjoy your stay.
Please return the keys to the local shop Londis at the end of your stay. The shop is located a three minute walk away on Londis Street.
Netflix is a great film service provided through the Apple TV attached to the large widescreen TV. You can watch hundreds of movies at any time free of charge. There are a great number of childrens films available too.
There are also a large number of books you are welcome to read, two packs of cards and a poker set.
Smoking is not permitted in the apartment.
Street parking is available outside the building. I can provide you with permits at a small cost.
The apartment is in a Victorian building with wooden flooring - sound travels very easily up and downstairs. With respect to the neighbours, I ask guests to be considerate and to keep noise levels to a minimum. Please remove heels and shoes when in the flat. I'm afraid pets and parties are not allowed

I am a photographer who travels around the world taking pictures ( It is a job that has taken me to Antarctica, Everest, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Latin Amerlica....I absolutely love travel. For this reason, I am delighted to be able to offer my home to another traveller for their stay in London. London is one of my favourite cities - there is so much to see and do with a lot of it easily visited by foot or bicycle - it is far more compact that the tube map leads you to think!
I focus on photographing wildlife and landscape. I will be hanging some of my pictures on the walls of the flat while I am away. If you see like one, you can take it from the wall and leave money on the table in the flat - it might make a nice gift for someone :)
Please do get in touch if you have any questions.
