Overall we would agree she and her husband were good guests. However, we would have expected her to live up to her cleaning standards. We still liked them as guests, but they were sub-par, a boogie as far as cleanliness is concerned. This may be because she is coming to us from the Caribean island life style, despite the fact that she is showing up as being from New Jersey while she mentioned she is from NYC and she was alerted to the fact that this is downtown living with all its inherent noise and dust. Speaking of cleanliness, her specific uneven handedness concentrating on dust, we would have preferred no dishes with food stuck on plates and utensils, and mugs with coffee left in the sink, no food left stuck on the floor, and the bathtub left with thick and dried goo, and the sink and counter left with excessive amount of toothpaste gum stuck all over and the bathroom mirror with a lot of splatter and the toilet with excessive "unhygienic" dirt all over. We also had to clean up the kitchen counters a lot due to excessive stuck-on food. She was a little OCD -with over compulsive behavior prior to check in, with communication about cleanliness. We still recommend her with a caveat in that we would have preffered she lived up to the same cleanliness she was claiming to have. Knowing her earlier request we did extra cleaning. We regret her holding a double standard in cleanliness and leaving the place unclean. On the positive side she did do her laundry using our detergent and washed 2 extra towels she used but left towels and wash clothes left for them totally dirty. We would strongly caution future hosts.
