Dos Loros is located next to the Merida English Library in the Santiago neighborhood, several blocks from the main square and the many attractions of the city's historic center. We live here full time now and enjoy sharing our home with visitors who may be visiting Merida for a few days.
We offer a private guest room with ensuite bath for airbnb guests. Guests are welcome to use the pool and help themselves to coffee, cereal, fresh tropical fruit and juice in the mornings.
We can provide directions to our favorite restaurants and cultural sites around town as well as links to tour operators who offer excursions to archaeological sites outside of Merida. There are also numerous language schools and other activities nearby. Be sure to let us know if you have a special interest and we'll do our best to assist.
Both buses and uber or taxis are nearby so if you wish to venture beyond the downtown area, there are many options for transportation. Need a local cell phone? We have an extra one that you can use for local calls during your stay.
We look forward to your visit!
