Lewes is a beautiful historic market town set in a valley of the undulating South Downs. It has easy access to the coast, vibrant Brighton and of course everything the town itself has to offer - great pubs, history, good walking, cafes and shopping. Perfect for the lone traveller, hikers, a couple or the odd stay if you're on business. The house itself is humble but welcoming and furnished with a resident labrador! Breakfast will mostly be homemade and local produce with a focus on well being.
The house is a typical Lewesian two up, two down town terraced house. The guest bedroom is located to the back of the house, next to the bathroom and is furnished with a comfortable double bed. Clean towels will be provided.
Please note, this house is definitely one best suited to animal lovers! We often have doggy visitors as well as my own elderly cat and youthful Labrador.

I'll generally be on hand if you need anything. In the week I tend to be very focused on work but am more sociable at the weekends.
Check out on week days is 10am but I am happy for you to leave your bags here until later on in the day if it works out with my schedule. Please note that I won't take bookings from people without government ID verification or positive reviews - I know this may be frustrating for new users but I hope you understand I can't invite just anyone into my home.
Week day check out is 10am latest.
I'm originally from the Midlands but very much count Sussex as my home as I've been here for many moons and have always felt a large affinity with the landscape and lifestyle. I love the combination of river, countryside, sea and the rolling downs in beautiful Lewes and love to observe it's daily differences and at my happiest while out walking my friendly labrador Monty.
While I'm a photographer by trade (cookbooks and portraits), I'm trained to degree level in nutritional therapy and I have a particular passion in well produced food. Here in Lewes we are lucky to be in abundance of excellent, ethical food producers.
My hosting style is relaxed - I'll be on hand to show you the ropes and suggest things to do but otherwise am happy to let you just get on with your time here.
Monty (labrador) and Buster (cat) are friendly and tactile so you'll be sure to get your animal therapy fix!
