We are here if you need help! Professional property management company lives next door. Call (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) for help.
Check out is no later than 11 am.
Check in no earlier than 4 pm.
Call ahead if you need other arrangements. Sometimes we can be flexible on check IN. Check outs are not flexible, and you will have to be charged $65/hour if you check out late, as our housekeepers will have to scramble to keep up.
NO smoking, NO pets. Must be over age 21 to book.
The golden rule works great for us--and no party types. We ask for no noise outside after 10 pm at the latest. This home is quiet and serene, in a quiet "local" neighborhood and we want to keep it that way. : )
WE live in the main house 200 feet away. You can't see us and we can't see you, but we are here if you'd like to chat and out of sight if you don't need to! Please make sure you read and print out the agreement for renting the cabin. We have rented this cabin out for fifteen years successfully (read our feedback on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)).
We do have guests checking out before you come in, so please remember that check in is at 4 pm. (check out is no later than 11 am and we regret that we will have to charge you $65/hour for late checkouts so our housekeepers can stay on schedule)
The key code is XXXXXX (please email and ask what this is a few days before your stay). The address is (ask)
Please print out the "house rules" so you have a hard copy.
To get in the home--You will enter the number (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)nto the key lockbox and get your key.
If you choose to use the loft, know that it is a true loft: ladder, and not high enough for tall people to stand up in, although shorties can do just fine. We bear no responsibility for you not using the ladder, or any part of the cabin safely.
We have a little fire pit out by the cabin, which you can use too if you know what you are doing with it...It doesn't take much wood, so don't overdo it, and make sure you have a hose from the back of the house close by in case you need to put the fire out before it burns out.
If you use the futon upstairs for sleeping (we'll have it laid out just in case), the linens and bedspreads for that are under the upstairs bed.
No smoking. Not suitable for pets. No parties or events. Check-in time is 4PM - 10PM, but with advance notice, sometimes we can help you get in earlier.
It is important to read ALL the house rules before making a reservation as you will be expected to abide by them. This will make the stay for everyone more enjoyable.
This is a home on our property so please respect it and our belongings.
No drugs, smoking, drinking where we can hear or see it, or foul language.
(If you want to party this is not the place for you!)
1. Of course guests may choose to drink , but if you cause any trouble you will be asked to leave with no (NO, nada) refund.
2. This is a NO SMOKING home and property. You are welcome to take a walk down the public road, but please do not throw your butts on the ground! There is fire danger, and it's not acceptable in the neighborhood. We do have a receptacle outside (with advance notice) if you must smoke...but make sure the house doesn't get smoke inside, or we will charge the heck out of you to make it nice for the next guests. Our family who uses the cabin has asthma, and we are serious about keeping it non-allergenic. And, much of the West burned in forest fires this past summer....We don't want you to cause a fire at our home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quiet time is between 10 PM and 8 AM. We won't hear you if you are reasonably quiet.
Please Clean and Pick Up After Yourselves. Be reasonably tidy, and you will have a happy host and a great review! (And, we hope seriously to get a great review from you as well.)
If you are lacking something, let us know immediately....You can't stay there for your whole stay and then tell us something that you wish was better..let us know so we can fix it! We want it perfect for you, and spend tons of time making it as good as we can.
Thanks again, and we hope you'll have a great time.
At the end of your stay: Take out the trash and put it in the garbage can. Please put all your dirty linens in the tub, and return all bedspreads, shams, decorative pillows, etc. to the room you found them in.
We bear no liability for your actions.
