Thank you for your feedback. We’d be remiss not to clarify for future guests.
We accommodated as much as we could for you and the big pup. We usually host travelers and students. Unfortunately, I did not anticipate you moving into the room you booked with several dressers of your belongings. It’s was a lot and we were not prepared for that.
The dog toys : We wanted to protect our guest room carpet from the slobber on the dogs toys, for future guests.
The food: We didn’t mean that the dog food would smell up the house. We love dogs and accept dog food in our house. We did think, however, that having a big bag of dog food, a dog in a crate with dog toys, and a human staying in one bedroom might smell up the room for future guests. The bag did stay in the room, and there was a smell. We’ve since deep cleaned the room, it’s ok now.
The noise: My son heard loud banging from your room and was wondering if the dog crate was bumping against the wall. Your pup is large in size and cannot stay crated all day and all night without exercise and play time.
Washing Fluffy’s paws: We have a solid distance between the clean dishes and us rinsing our dogs paws in the sink. However, we’ll accept the feedback.
We thought you were nice and we thought your big labradoodle/Great Dane pup was cute, we regret it wasn’t a good fit for both of you and all your belongings. I wish you well on your next trip and I regret the low ratings.
