From the moment that you first book with me, my goal is for you to have an outstanding AirBnb experience and a pleasurable visit to Baltimore.
I will provide you with detailed instructions for accessing the house and a house manual to make your arrival and settling in as smooth as possible. I am very familiar with the city and will be more than happy to recommend places to eat, attractions to visit, and other points of interest during your stay in Baltimore.
And, since I live here, I generally have at least some contact with each guest during their stay, but how much really depends upon my schedule and yours. In the event that I am away from home during your visit, rest assured that I will be accessible by phone and email throughout your stay and have a caretaker who lives in the neighborhood and is available as well.
Private yoga lessons and vegan cooking classes can be arranged in advance for a small fee. Email me for details.
Additionally, home cooked vegan and vegetarian meals are also available for an additional cost and by prior arrangement. Email me for menu choices and costs.
I ask that you treat me and my home with respect, and for this reason, I have established the following rules.
No smoking in the house. (There is a fenced in patio area where guests can smoke)
No guests without prior approval.
Please clean up after yourself. You are welcome to use the kitchen and the other shared areas (bathroom, living room, dining room) throughout the house but please be respectful and clean up after yourself. Cleaning supplies are provided under the kitchen sink and also on a shelf in the laundry room. Let me know if you have any questions.
Keep noise at an acceptable level, particularly late at night or early in the morning.
You will be given keys and a personal alarm code when you arrive. You will be expected to follow the rules regarding the locking of front and back doors and use of the security alarm system.

Most importantly, I want you to enjoy your stay here in Baltimore- if there is anything I can do to make your stay more pleasant, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Hi! My name is Kat and I have been hosting on Airbnb for 3 years. During this time, I have consistently been a top rated host, hosting both long and short term guests over 95% of the time. I have hosted well over 100 guests from all over the globe, and several have come back to stay with me on return visits. I love meeting new people from around the country and the world, learning about other cultures and making new friends! I am friendly and easy-going, basically, I ask that my guests follow the few very basic house rules and I will always do my best to make sure that your stay is pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable.
In addition to hosting, I am also self employed as a holistic entrepreneur and wellness consultant. When I'm not working, I enjoy practicing yoga and meditation, cooking amazing vegan meals, working in my organic vegetable garden and spending time with family, friends and my 3 adorable fur-kids.
I love Baltimore and all of the charm and interesting things this city offers! I enjoy going out, particularly to live music venues and am a great resource as far as the local music scene in and around Baltimore. Whatever your interests, I can point you in the right direction to check out the best spots around town to ensure a great time. I also love to dine out and can provide you with a list of local restaurants based upon whatever type of food you are in the mood for.
I have traveled extensively throughout the US, Europe, Asia and Central America and am eager to share my home and my hometown with other travelers. I grew up on the outskirts of Baltimore and have lived downtown for 5 years now. I can help you find things to do that suit your interests, particularly if you are looking for something "off the beaten path" of the regular tourist spots!
