This is a lovely home away from home in a quiet cut de sac, backing onto forest land. We have lived in the area for 10 years, and love crisp seasons, the breathtaking beauty of the lake, and the majesty of the mountains.
We love to host, and to date have welcomed hundreds of happy guests to this quiet little haven. It's our joy to share this special place, and help our visitors enjoy the little known secrets that so many tourists don't get to see.

And the large deck above the unit is all yours. You have exclusive use which includes BBQ, a teak table set with four chairs, plus two comfy rocking chairs so you can enjoy a rest while taking in the view (you can see glimpses of the lake from there). Smoking is allowed on the deck.

Distance to nearest ski resorts is as follows: Diamond Peak (2 mins), Mt. Rose (15 mins), Northstar (25 mins) Alpine Meadows (35 mins) Squaw Valley (45 mins) Heavenly (40 mins) - so lots to choose from! And we can advise about how to get discounts on your ski passes.

And the famous Calneva resort is just 10 minutes drive away (setting for all sorts of delicious stories about Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe and gangsters). Lots to enjoy! We'll help you find out more about what's going on so you can have a fabulous stay!
We are animal lovers and welcome well-behaved furry guests. The apartment is at the end of a forest-surrounded a cul de sac and very safe - dogs can run off the lead. Very quiet too.

We have special prices also for massage/body work/spa treatments (on site massage also available on request). And we have introduced special classes on essential oils for those interested!!
And we also have some additional activities and packages for you with reduced pricing because of the relationship we've built with local businesses - including Earthgym training programs, personal retreats, numerology readings, and also our dear neighbor will show you how to custom-make moccasins and other leather creations and how to make a pine needle basket, Washoe style.
We can also customize a retreat for you if you wish with spa treatments, essential oils, guided hikes, and personal and business enrichment programs. Ask us for more details.
