One of my brothers speaks English and Russian. The rest of my family is learning English with our international Airbnb visitors; however, we also teach you some Spanish, and everybody learns and practices:)
We are waiting for you and will be dedicated to make your stay as comfortable as possible!
Private Apartment to rent in 4-story Family residence near International Lima Airport. (Called also Jorge Chavez Airport)
Crossing the street, you will find a bakery, pizza place, grocery store, small restaurants, ATM, a gas station and the bus stop.
We are 10 minute walking to a large supermarket called Metro, a Farmer's Market (Peruvian Style) and a Laundromat.
San Miguel Mall is 15 minutes by public transportation which provides affordable and clean food.
15 minutes driving/taxi to the airport and Downtown Lima. (We suggest you take a taxi instead of taking public transportation coming from/to airport with your suitcases) Unfortunately taxi prices are out of control and usually pricey.

My family and I are opening our house to travelers. We like to interact with people from different cultural background and make our airbnb guests feel as they are part of our family.
We also would like to share what we know about Lima and where to go in Lima. This cultural exchange gives us the opportunity to tell you who we are. We like to keep contact with international people and hear things about their travelings.
We offer you a safe, quiet, and nice environment.
Some advantages of my home are:
My house is well located between the Lima International Airport and Downtown Lima. We are 15-20 minutes by taxi to downtown Lima. Some places, we suggest, to see in downtown are:
- Cathedral of Lima (Catacombs of Lima)
- The Franciscan Monastery
- The Government Palace
- Malecon del Rio (Pier of the river)
You can also take the panoramic bus and you can compare the old Lima and new Lima, that has over 8 million inhabitants. We can consider it as a busy city.
Peru is three times the size of California. So you have a lot to see other than Cusco and Puno.
If you like eating, you should check out Peru’s annual food festival in Lima, Mistura, (more than 300,000 attendees). The next one is in September 2015. You can spend all day in this huge fair. Seafood, Steaks, rotisserie chicken, pork and lamb (and many vegetarian options too!).
Drinks like Pisco Sour, Purple Corn juice (Chicha Morada) and Fermented Corn juice (also called Peruvian/Inca beer) or Chicha de Jora are a must.
Desserts made of dark chocolate, rice pudding with purple corn pudding, and ice creams like Zambito are just delicious.
