À propos de ce logement
Available Texas A&M and LSU weekend, this lovely, kid friendly home on a quiet street less than 2 miles from The Square.
This home allows you to have virtually traffic-free access to all of Oxford's great shopping on and around The Square and even easier access to The Grove for football games via local favorite roads not usually travelled by visitors. You can zip right into campus using Molly Barr road (aka HWY30 and Gertrude Ford road) or run up to The Square using Sisk Avenue. University Avenue can be reached by surface roads or jump on HWY 7, which can take you to HWY 6 and the west side of town. There are two park and ride pick-ups less than one mile from the home as well as two grocery stores, a variety of pharmacies, liquor stores and antique malls.
This is a very clean and relaxed home with 3 flat screen TVs.
The main bedroom has a giant king bed with fine linens and fresh new pillows.
The second bedroom is a large and colorful friendly space with a bathroom, drawing room, bunk-room and private door to the back porch. There is a queen bed and flat screen TV with cable and DVD. The bunk-room is the favorite space with a twin bed nestled inside next to it's own little window. The drawing room has a large twin air mattress (provided) and a fantastic doodle wall- feel free to add your doodle!
The kitchen is designed to mimic a coffee house/café with a small TV and old lab chair from the University. There are the standard three piece appliances as well as a convection toaster, microwave and blender...but why cook when you're surrounded by world class restaurants?
The neighborhood is quiet and the street is only used by residents which makes it perfect for walking, riding bikes or tossing the football before the game.
The home sleeps 5 in beds and 1 on air mattress (provided).

I was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi- Where the hills end and the Delta begins- depending on which way you're driving. I have lived in Houston Texas, New Orleans Louisiana, Marin County California and a few different towns and cities in Mississippi.
I have travelled all over the United States and Japan but have never loved a place more than Oxford.
Oxford is a fun college town filled with people from all over the world and home to The University of Mississippi and the Ole Miss Rebels. The city is laid back with world class taste. It is also home to many artists and storytellers as well as the great William Faulkner.
I am an artist who has painted murals all over the state as well as designing art and logos for many notable musicians and bands. Oxford holds some of my favorite murals and you can find my poster work displayed in several restaurants all over the Square.
I am a big fan of travel and love to share stories with others. I also quite enjoy being a host to new friends who travel to Oxford to explore. There are some magical places in and around Oxford that only a local can point out.
I've been told time and time again that I don't know a stranger so it must be true!
