Le logement

My home is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath home on centrally located Point Loma with the most amazing views of Shelter Island, Coronado Island, San Diego harbor and downtown day and night. The main bedroom is the best place to enjoy watching boat activity and planes on San Diego Bay and Coronado Island. The entire place has been remodeled with new appliances, refinished hardwood floors, new tile and granite counter tops. It has a very large fenced in yard with a hasty bake grill and hammock to relax and plenty of room for yard games. There is a large Eucalyptus tree to bring some nice shade and a couple lemon trees for your cooking needs. Comes equip with wireless internet and large HD TV with surround sound and a DVD player.
The Master Bedroom has a California King size Tempurpedic bed and the Living room has 2 pull out futons. One is a queen size futon and the other is a full size. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet with a nice ocean breeze and on the sunny side of the coastal fog. It's a 10 minute walk down the hill to the Point Loma village where you can find amazing restaurants, shopping, the San Diego Yacht Club, Shelter Island, and La Playa beach. It is a 5 minute drive to the glorious Sunset Cliffs and Ocean Beach where there is world class surfing and the most amazing place to watch sunsets. There are also some really secluded private beaches to get away. Within a 10 minute drive are Cabrillo National Monument, Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Sea World, Old Town, Down Town's Gas Lamp District, the San Diego Airport, Mission Valley, The San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. We're only 20 miles from the Mexican border if your craving a Baja adventure during your stay.

The perfect location to have comfort in a quiet tranquil private setting and also be within minutes from all the attractions that San Diego has to offer.

Public transportation is available down the street on Rosecrans St. However, because the house is located at the top of a hill we recommend a rental car as the most practical way to get around.

*** CHECK-IN TIME is after 3pm PST and CHECK OUT is 10 am PST. NO early check-in or late check-out permitted without prior written permission from owner or manager.
*** There is absolutely NO SMOKING in the house.
*** We will not rent to vacationing INDIVIDUALS UNDER 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
*** DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A damage/reservation deposit of $500 is required. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within 48 hours of departure, provided the below provisions numbered #1-10 are met. (Should any damage be done to the house where the cost of repairs exceeds the $500 deposit amount, renter agrees to incur 100% of the repair costs as determined by owner.)
1.) No damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
2.) No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
3.) All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in refuse containers outside the house, and all soiled dishes are cleaned and placed back in cabinets.
4.) All keys are left in the lock box and house is left locked. ($25 charge/per lost key)
5.) All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
6.) No linens are lost or damaged.
7.) NO early check-in or late check-out.($150 charge for unauthorized early check-ins or late check-outs)
8.) Renting party acknowledges that he/she is over age 25.
9.) No pets allowed on premises at anytime.
10.) No use of the fireplace occurs at any time.
*** MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons.
*** NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the home, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate and is not available. We suggest you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the home.
*** FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
*** WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
*** PARKING – The driveway fits one car. There is parking for one additional car on the street in front of the house. Please do not park in front of any neighboring properties. Remember to crank your wheels toward the curb when you park. Any illegally parked cars are subject to ticketing and/or towing; any applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle renter/owner.
*** STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given due to storms or any other weather conditions.
*** The owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. Please be careful of the uneven footing in the back and front yard and all surrounding landscape. (i.e. big cactus in the backyard).
*** The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
*** Please be courteous to the neighbors. No loud noise or profane language allowed. There is a $200 charge for any disturbances reported to the owner or manager.
*** Please do not water the plants.
*** Kindly be conscious of energy usage during your stay.

La maison est extrêmement bien situé ! La vue est imprenable et la maison conforme aux photos. Nous n'avons pas vu notre hôte durant tout le séjour.

The host John was super amazing. There were no issues at all but things that I needed and questions that I had. He replied always within 30 minutes and came out to the house within an hour of that. John is a professional and is super kind and his house is a reflection of him. Its a beautiful home that warms your heart with kindness.

Just what we wanted. The codes to get into the house worked easily. The house was in excellent condition, just as advertized.

Where do I start! How about the view, SPECTACULAR. One of the very few areas in San Diego to offer such a breath taking view. The backyard is Large, large enough where u can have a mini frisbee game or play catch with some friends, while enjoying the BBQ grill provided by the tenant. The interior of the home is very clean and spacious. A large TV, plus 2 pull out beds to make the stay enjoyable for up to 8 guest (including the bed in the room and foldable mistress in the closet) I will deffinetly be visiting again. Comment on the host: VERY PROMPT RESPONSES, NICE & INFORMING. All in short, DONT MISS THIS HOUSE

The best thing about this property is the great location and spectacular views. Easy and quick access to all the San Diego attractions. It worked out perfect for a family of 4. Home was clean and in a very nice/safe neighborhood.

It is a tremendous view, but it's not a great rental. The place has a lot of square feet but the layout is poor. The great view is really available only from the bedroom, not the kitchen and living areas where most people spend their waking hours. The kitchen is downstairs, separated from the other living areas by a long staircase. The futons are good, but that's the only real furniture in the living room and they're not ideal for either reading of watching TV. There's no real desk or table area (except downstairs in the kitchen) for those of us that spend our time staring at computer screens. In our case, we found some dirty utensils (spatula and fork) which the cleaning people had put in the drawer so that didn't enhance the experience. The description from the owner does not really misrepresent the unit, but it doesn't tell the whole truth. If I was rating the view: 5 stars. To rate the rental unit, 1 star. This was probably the least satisfactory of my 9 or 10 AirBnb rentals. We left a day early as a result.
