Hi Eric, I am going to add a little context because people can't see your more detailed review. First, the sleeper sofa is a $6k sofa from Restoration Hardware, it is, quite literally, the nicest pullout we have been able to find (a few guests say it is more comfortable than their bed at home). Not sure why it felt tight, the house technically sleeps more, but we limit it, so it isn't crowded. It is a massive home after all! Second, this is a mountain home, while we have a much larger property (inside and out) we don't allow people to explore because it can be dangerous with the slopes. This is standard for the area. Third, the bears can open doors on cars if they are not locked. If this is a deciding factor for you, then there isn't a home in the mountains on the East Coast that will work for you. I know the bears can be surprising but they are passive, and as long as you respect them and give them space, you won't have an issue. If you are worried, you can call the 911for help. Overall, it seems you had a great time with a few areas of surprise (bears).
