Our 3 bedroom self catering cottage is a few minutes from the 'bonnie bonnie banks' of Loch Lomond. The cottage is situated in the village of Tarbet, facing Ben Reoch and with views to Ben Lomond.
The cottage is 9 years old and is named after the local mountain with the very distinctive peak. It is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful scenery of the local area with an abundance of walks hikes and cycles from the doorstep.
Downstairs is an open plan layout including living room, dining area and kitchen. Downstairs also hosts Bedroom 1 which is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There is also a larger bathroom including shower and a bath. The living room has a Freest TV & DVD player. Wi-fi network throughout the cottage.
Upstairs there are 2 good sized bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and Bedroom 3 has a single and a double bed.
Children are welcome and the cottage contains a high chair and a travel cot. Children might also like the mystery box of kids toys and DVDs.
Older 'children' might also enjoy a game of Stramash. This Scottish board game is a must-play. The rules were approved by the Board of the International Stramash Society of Edinburgh in 1852....will you be the first 'tae git yer five laddies face ya dock tae ya castle until it's strait'..?!

We live in Edinburgh and are delighted to answer any questions prior to or during your stay. Whilst at the cottage we have a local Property Manager on hand for any specific issues. Contact details provided in the Welcome folder and welcome email.
We will contact you just prior to your stay to confirm entry procedures to the cottage.
Please be aware that Tarbet is a quiet village and the nearest local shop is in Arrochar, 1.5 miles away. Our advice if you intend to self-cater is to either bring food with you or alternatively plan in advance and book a delivery from Asda, Tesco or Waitrose.
Your welcome pack will cover your first few teas, coffees as well as a local tipple.
