A beautiful stay with a sad unexpected twist 4 days after I departed The farm house is exactly what I was looking for; secluded in a mountain, quiet and peacfull. The host were hospitable during my 14 day stay. Picked me up form the air port even when I was willing to pay for…

Anything can happen when we entrust our property to people we don't know. Keith and his girlfriend Jennelyn have no respect for property. Having paid their stay at USD$23/night, which was way too low of what other local stays charged, they believe they have every right to trash our property. If Keith paid for the laundry of beddings which they stained and dirtied on, and his clothes as mentioned above, it is only expected of him as we never made any promises of doing laundry for our guests at the price we charged. On their 14-day stay, we changed their beddings twice and got the very dirty, stinky ones from them. We cannot remember when Keith brought the soiled ones to the laundry for if they did without us changing them they wouldn't have anything to use; noting that there is no laundry shop around this province that could do express laundry for king size comforters and sheets. As for the broken items under "normal use", I am horrified to know what would have happened if he used our house beyond normal. Keith offered to pay for the broken towel rack but he has to learn that there are things that just can't be exchanged for the value of money. Keith went to the extent of asking how much is our farm house and how much is the farm as well. We are just lowly owners of a humble farm house, wanting to contribute a little to the world through this respectable site. We welcome and respect guests as people, worthy of respect and trust. Our experience with Keith and Jennelyn has taught us a lesson. Going forward, we would share the farm house only to guests who value people and property. For this, we've set our nightly price higher than what Keith paid his stay. Here's my review for Keith: "When we handed the keys to Keith and his girlfriend Jennelyn, the house was in spotless, good condition as seen on pictures. Now that they have left, we have to repaint the walls and doors because splashes of food are on walls, doors, curtains, and on sofa; the food stains are very hard to remove. Some dirty wet laundry with stinky pee were left inside the wardrobe cabinet and also left splashes of poop in the bathroom. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken, and the door knob to the bedroom was broken also. Unlike our guests in the past, Keith and his girlfriend Jennelyn trashed our property."
We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the birds, garden, the peace and quiet, the night sky filled with stars and shooting stars. We liked the house and the simplicity of it all. We had a truly relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of cities and traveling. We would come back …
Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The deck outside provided a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the views. Inside, the kitchen was good for cooking in. A good-sized refrigerator stored lots of food. The chilled water dispenser was a nice addition.
