Hi Jan Jin,
I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the beautiful penthouse.
For your information, Airbnb places like ours are actual homes (not hotels) in which home owners share their homes with travellers like you. I don't understand what you mean when you said the apartment is 'packed with personal belongings'. Certainly there are plenty of books on the shelves for your enjoyment, a clothes rack for your convenience, and cutlery and appliances in the kitchen for your usage. Did you mean you were expecting to come to an empty home?
The penthouse is huge and spacious and I am absolutely sure it was not 'packed' with items like you described. If there is anything it has most of, it would be space. Especially as it's a vacant property.
Secondly, Airbnbs are not hotels, and while everything may not have been polished and spotless as one might find in hotels, certainly the bedspreads have been changed, floor has been swept and toilets have been cleaned before your arrival. As you can see, fresh towels and toilet rolls have also been provided for you and all trash has been cleared.
Finally, as mentioned, Airbnbs are homes and homes certainly have refrigerators full of used items. Feel free to help yourself to ice cream or beer we leave for the guests or throw them out if you find it so offensive next time.
