We are sorry that you have not been happy in Rome. Unfortunately, what you say is incorrect and, moreover, does not depend on us. First, the house is in Monteverde, a central area of Rome, one of the best areas to reach various places of interest in the city. For example, Gianicolo is only at 15 min walk, San Pietro is only 1 train stop and Trastevere is reached with only 1 tram, without changes or big cost. (Read any Rome guide to know it!)
You have to know how to read maps and use smartly public transport to visit a great European capital.
Rome is one of the biggest cities in the world, have an apartment just 2 km from the center and pay less than 20 euro/day is a privilege, not a burden.
We are sorry to give a bad review to Mrs. Sophie for his holiday in our apartment in Rome. The lady and her family unfortunately didn't behave well as guests.
First, they arrive with three hours late than agreed, they don't care of the house, leaving the bathroom very dirty, the lights on and windows open. They left without notice, by not paying the last costs and, above all, they left the house keys outside the door!
This family is extremely irresponsible and rude therefore they are not welcome guests in our apartments.
