Floors are oak or saltillo tile. An alcove off the living and dining area is a secluded place to sit or nap on the Taos bed. Climb the spiral stairway past a lovely, stained glass window to the second level. The vigas, windows and wood all give you a Santa Fe ambiance. The second floor has two queen-sized beds. One is in the roomy, master bedroom with a full bath behind closed pocket doors. The other is in an alcove with large windows and views that will entrance you. David and Wendy enjoy hiking and being out in nature and love living in Santa Fe where the sunsets and skies are breathtaking. David has two wonderful grown kids, a son in New York and a daughter in Washington DC. They're retired but David plays golf often and Wendy is a sculptor and painter. They enjoy traveling and together have been on great adventures in Italy, Vancouver, Greece, Turkey and various states in the US. They like dogs and allow well-behaved ones to stay at their Sky Island Casitas. They love their property with gorgeous views in Santa Fe and are happy to share it with others. They see a lot of interesting films, listen to speakers, take cooking classes, enjoy live theater and all kinds of music. They enjoy meeting the many interesting people who have come to Sky Island Casitas for the last 6 years.
