À propos de ce logement
Our apartment is small & basic, but has everything you would need for a home away from home. If you read the reviews, you'll see that most agree with me that it's cozy, it's clean & it's in a great neighborhood!! Gracia, is one of my favorite parts of town - bohemian, Catalan, very community oriented, tranquilo as they say here & a hop, skip & a jump from the centre. I try to avoid clutter & love simplicity. I hope the apartment reflects that as well. We'd love to have you stay with us!
This is a newly renovated, smoke free, apartment located in the beautifully unique and bohemian area of Gracia in the heart of Barcelona, on a quiet residential street. The apartment is clean, animal-free and comfortable. It's on the first floor with a wee terrace and no elevator.
The apartment is cozy and has 2 bedrooms. I sleep in one and the other is for you! Your bedroom is the largest of the two and a decent size. You have your own closet to hang clothes and store cases etc. You will sleep in a comfortable, new, double bed that accommodates two people. You have full use of all common areas; bathroom, kitchen, living room and dining area. There is FREE WiFi as well as full use of all amenities such as the washing machine, high powered blender, juicer, toaster, oven etc. And of course, fresh linens, towels and pillows.
Gracia (pronounced Grathia ;) ) is Barcelona's Montmartre. It is the artistic, bohemian, hip community just 20 minutes walk from the centre or 5-10 minutes on Metro and 10 on bus. The flat is close to several main bus lines, including the 39 which will take you right to the Barceloneta beach directly among (URL HIDDEN) well as 3 main metro stations.
Gracia is an area of Barcelona like no other. You can walk up and down the old, quaint pedestrian streets in awe of its architecture and culture. It used to be it's own pueblo (small village) which was founded in 1628! There are so many little plazas surrounded with outdoor terraces, bars, cafe's and restaurants.
There are a plethora of tapas bars and other places to dine, especially along Calle Verdi where you will find all sorts of cuisine such as Palestinian, Lebanese, Japanese, Indian, Catalan, Spanish and Italian to just name a few! Gracia is a great place for off the beaten path shopping - as you walk the streets you will find local artisan shops, local designers and eco-fashion boutiques. Theatres, bookstores, grocery stores, fruit shops, bakeries, yoga studios, organic food stores are among the other businesses you will find.
The neighbourhood is very safe with playgrounds for children in the plazas, where you will often also find musicians and other street performers! Saturday or Sunday afternoons it's not unheard of to see a string quartet or some swing dancers pop up to entertain you while you sit and enjoy the sun and a cortado.
We are in a prime area! If you're looking to get away from the chaos and insecurity of Las Ramblas or the centre in general - yet be walking distance to almost everything, this is your spot. I find myself at times just aimlessly wandering the streets with a smile on my face and my camera in hand. I am so in love with this area and I am sure you will feel the same! And if you´re still dubious...just read the comments and reviews!
We are 20-25 minute walk to the centre of town ie. Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas, El Raval, Gothic Quarter and El Borne.
We are a 15-minute walk to Sagrada Familia!
We are about a 25-30 minute walk to Parc Guell!
We are 15-20 minute bus ride directly outside the door on the street over that will take you to Barceloneta which is another cute area of the city, used to be an old fishing village, but now is most commonly known as...where the beach is!
And we are just 10 minutes from Passeo de Gracia where you can find all the big shops for all your shopping needs! Both houses of Gaudi are also along that same street!
If you're wanting to go further in or out of the city, we are close to major bus lines, metro lines and taxis run up and down the next street over all day/night.
There are several late night convenience stores, bakeries, banks and cafe's all within a 30 second-1 minute walk from the apartment.
And Gracia's own little beautiful fresh food market is just a 5 minute walk away if you're wanting to buy some fresh local produce and foods!
This is without a doubt, one of the best neighbourhoods in all of Barcelona.
Please do not hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions.
*I no longer offer breakfast. I do have some basics on hand for guests however: bread, jam/butter, coffee, tea etc.

Hi there! We are two really good friends that started out doing Airbnb when we lived in the same flat in Pamplona! We had such a great time and experience with it that when one of us moved to Barcelona, we had to continue! So here's a little bit about us:
If you're visiting tranquil, picturesque Pamplona, you'll get to meet Eneko. He was born and raised in Navarra and is an electrician by trade working in the alternative energy field. He has a penchant for rock music, gardening, scuba diving and can at times even be found hang gliding off a mountain.
If you're looking at coming to beautiful Barcelona, you'll meet me, Ella. I hail from the left coast of Canada, but have lived in Spain for the last 6 years. I'm a writer and entrepreneur. I have a small online coaching business working with people that want to better their health through detoxification and diet. I am also in the midst of starting a much bigger project that I hope to open in Barcelona in the very near future! A few things I'm into; running, writing, rock climbing, and I am a bit of a (high raw, vegan) foodie! :)
We are both travelers, story collectors, wine enthusiasts, sushi connoisseurs (me vegan sushi of course) and have both just had such wonderful experiences with Airbnb meeting all sorts of great people from all over the world!
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to drop us a line and feel free to read our reviews!
Tambien hablamos castellano!
