Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the wifi is an issue with our major telecommunications company rather than the owner not having suitable wifi. He has paid the premium price for free unlimited wifi for his guests and it is the major provider that lets him down with issues with the street cables etc. it is totally out of the owner's control unfortunately and really nothing else can be done...he has tried changing providers, buying a new (Website hidden by Airbnb) is not a house or owner problem. Actually this is the first time anybody has ever mentioned a problem with the speed or efficiency of the internet...perhaps you have a much better system in New Zealand! The NBN is notoriously pretty slow here in Oz unfortunately despite all the advertising otherwise.
Also as you mentioned, insects do come inside the house from time to time as the house is situated right next door to a lovely park filled with huge trees, the house is right on the river and there are gardens all around the house. With doors open to enjoy the lovely outdoor entertaining there are bound to be mosquitoes, flies, spiders and ants sneaking in....can't help nature :)
The owner only recently has the downstairs toilet fixed by a qualified tradesman so thank you for the heads up as we will contact him to come back immediately and resolve the issue.
