Our spacious, bright and airy 1923 duplex apartment has just been completely renovated, yet retains nearly all of the original 1923 architectural features such as parquet flooring, crown moldings, sash windows, French patio doors, dining room vanity, built in closets, gorgeous eat-in breakfast area in the kitchen, decorative fireplace and cute outdoor dinner patio area. The apartment is huge for a one bedroom at over 800sqft/75 sq Meters, and boasts it own private garden with log burning firepit. The location could not be better - Extremely quiet and safe tree-lined street, but less than one minute walk from Melrose Avenue (known as Melrose Village) with all the great cafes, bars, pubs, restaurants and shopping you could ever want, yet just a 5 minute drive will land you in the popular Grove Shoping center, Farmer's Market or Beverly Hills. You are just two blocks from Santa Monica Blvd and only four blocks from the Sunset Strip. The property has also been fully updated with central air conditioning + heating, great water pressure, brand new 40" flatscreen HDTV and APPLE TV with Netflix subscription, new water heater and WASHER DRYER IN THE APARTMENT (not shared!). All normal linens are supplied (towels, sheets etc), along with a complimentary "welcome home" consisting of a bottle of chilled bubbles or wine, mineral water, crisps/snacks and fruit selection.

Guests will have complimentary Hi-Speed Wifi, private garden, private washer and dryer, new Gas 4 hob stove and oven, good sized fridge and freezer, and abundant non-permit parking on the street (which due to most homes being single family with own driveways, is never an issue). This is a truly stunning pied a terre for people looking for a quiet and well appointed stay right in the heart of West Hollywood - if you are looking for a party pad, frat house or somewhere you can stumble in to at 4am, then this is not the right place. Please note we will only rent to users that have genuine image of themselves displayed.

We like to leave guests to enjoy the place to themselves. We live in the house next door so if there are any issues we are available anytime to make sure your stay is as perfect as possible. We also include a full guide of our favorite places, from hikes, to spa services, to take out restaurants to give you an insider's taste of LA. Cleaning fee is $80 and please make sure you bring this in cash to have ready at check in to pay the maid. For stays of only 1 or 2 nights where the property is left is little to clean this will be reduced to $60. For stays of one week or more, a weekly cleaning service comes at a fee of $40 (the last week of which is not required as it is covered by the final cleaning fee of $80 which was paid at check in). NO SMOKING under any circumstances inside the apartment.

One of the best neighborhoods in LA - Safe, Quiet yet incredibly close to everything you could want; over 100 restaurants, bars and cafes are within a couple of minutes walk from the property, not to mention all the shops of Melrose Ave, from vintage apparel and antiques to juice bars, gastro-pubs and gourmet deli's. You are extremely close (5mins) to two other booming culinary and shopping strips of La Brea, and West 3rd Street, featuring hot spots such as Republique, Sycamore Kitchen, Joan's on Third, Toast Bakery, The Izaka-ya by Katsu-ya, and the new Ysabel (by Laurel Hardware founders) is literally a few blocks walk, as is Laurel Hardware and Whole Foods Market. You also have the convenience of The Grove Shopping Center and Farmer's Market just 15 mins walk away and getting to Beverly Hills or Hollywood is just a 10 minute drive.

I get a lot of questions regarding what the parking conditions are like - let me allay any fears: parking is easy here! This street is all nearly entirely single family homes with private driveways and there are NO large/multi-unit apartment or condo buildings (which are nearly always the cause of parking issues in LA). This means, there is little burden on the abundant street parking right outside the house. The area is all non-permit parking so you can park anywhere and again, this means there isn't the pressure that you get in some other areas where only certain people can only park on certain days etc. The only restrictions are for two hours in the morning on Mondays and Tuesdays for either side of street. That's it. As you can see from my reviews, none of my 30+ guests have ever had an issue with parking!
