Please note that the price you wrote me in private is actually the double you actually paid, so I am afraid there was a misunderstanding. You actually paid a bit more than 40 Euros per person for staying one night. Rome might be an expensive city, but I am nearly fully booked and in my opinion my rates are fair. I feel very sorry for all the issues. I double checked the apartments while waiting for you upon arrival and went again after your departure, but I could not find any of them: Wifi is perfectly working. I have several netoworks in the building. All have the same password. I recommend my guests to log to the strongest network, in order to get the fastest connection. In the apartments is an optic fiber with one of the Italian top carrier. I apologize for the issue, but now the problem is fixed. I made several speed test and no my guest have more tha 29Mbs .
TV's work. Some of the secondary channels are scarmbled, but you had hundresds of channels, and main TV networks (channels from 1 to 10) are perfectly fine.
Smell: I asked in private to be more specific. I could not actually smell anything bad in any of the apartments or common area. None of the previous and actual guests never notified what you are saying. Please write me back: I need to have more information in order to improve my service for next guests. As you know, I have an overall score of 4.7 out of 5 and I have 29 active listings on Airbnb, so , as you can imagine, my reputation is very high and I want to keep it like this.
I am sorry if you feel offended for accusing you to complain in order to get a refund. I completely agree with you on the importance of the reviews, but you actually just asked me for a full refund of your stay. So I am afraid I was right.
The window was not broken before and could not let the bugs in. It's a double glazed window and you only broke the inner glaze. Bags cannot get in because the external glaze is still whole, but it is dangerous for the next guest and the heat insulation is gone, so I have to replace anyway. This is not a scam, It is just a request for a refund for a damage that accidentally happened, but I could not imagine that would have pushed you to change the review you had already left.
