Hi Ryan, I was only uncomfortable once your guest mentioned having a "party" because my Airbnb is in a residential neighborhood and I don't allow "events" or "parties" . I feel like it is my responsibility to remind guests if they clearly are talking about doing something that is not allowed. I only reminded you that you may want to revisit my house rules and you replied it had been a long time since you made the reservation so you didn't remember. At that point I told you that I had no problem with you having a BBQ with your guests but if you were intending to "party" that I would appreciate you taking it to a park or a bar after 10:00pm-quiet time as stated in my house rules.
The security system including cameras are there for my guests' safety and as you noticed, they are only in a few key places on the outside of the house. I felt things went fairly well especially since you and your friends showed up a couple of hours before check in time and I had to rush to get the place in order. Unfortunately your friends' dog "marked" on one of the bedspreads and I was unable to remove that stain BUT I didn't charge you for that. I feel that I did my best to provide you with a nice, clean and safe place to stay and I am sorry that it wasn't the experience you were hoping for.
