Remodeled mastersuite with queen bed features private en-suite, heated tile floor and rain shower. Off-street parking. Friendly neighborhood near Colorado College, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, and Olympic Training Center.
Our neighborhood is full of dog-walkers and friendly, landscaped yards. We love gathering inspiration from everyone around us. From the end of the driveway -which is reserved parking for our guests, is a view of Pikes Peak. The house is located on a fairly large triangle of land and inhabited by an abundance of squirrels, a few deer from time to time, and the six hens providing me eggs and good company :) in the backyard.

I am in and out with work and school much of the time, but enjoy the opportunity to meet guests and connect with them as much as I am able -and their schedules allow. So far, most of the guests I've had at the home have "been on a mission" :) of some sort -with lots of activities planned -making the most of the time they have in the area. While busy schedules leave me wishing for more time with guests at times, it is SO fun to hear about the adventures. I am inspired by my guests. :)
To allow us to prepare for you in the best way possible and to ensure a great experience for you, it's not often that we will be able to accept same, or next-day arrival.
I moved to Colorado Springs 19 years ago from California's Central Coast. I DO miss the ocean but have fallen in love with Colorado for all its great hiking, and outdoor activities.
When not working, much of my time is spent hiking with my two dogs Guinea and Wickett -both available for canine therapy during your stay -or not. :) They are in the house at night.
I like to knit as well, and shrug off comments from my mocking boyfriend, Travis who says I'm too young to be knitting. I have been working on a wool blanket for four years now, and admittedly it has gotten out of hand. It is approximately the size of a King-size comforter.
Food is also at the top of my list of things I enjoy. Currently I'm taking culinary classes at our local college and hope to travel my way through the world kitchen by kitchen in a couple of years.
As an Airbnb host, I'd say I'm pretty casual. I like to chat and get to know my guests and swap stories. I love to learn. I also work full time, and am in school so I may not be able to sit and chat as long as I like at times.
