Description

Our home is light and spacious, it is an older and original style character filled 2 storey federation terrace house. Located on leafy and picturesque, heritage protected street with a 5 min walk to Bondi Road, 10 min walk to Bondi Junction and 20 min walk to Bondi Beach. Our home is suitable for families. There is a cot, baby change table, baby bath, toys, high chair and and also baby gates on stairs at base and top landing for 1st floor.

Our home has 2 levels with the living, dining, entertaining areas and kitchen being located on the ground floor and the bedrooms and main bathroom located on the second floor.

As you enter the house there is a sitting room with a television and books next you move onto the main living room and then onto the dining room which leads to a the kitchen (which is very small) and finally onto the sunroom with laundry and toilet which then takes you to the outdoor courtyard with table & chairs for dining alfresco.

The bedrooms are upstairs the 1st room is largeish and airy and it has a king bed and overlooks the street. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has a queen sized bed and looks out over the neighbourhood treeline. There is one bathroom which is located upstairs this has a shower and toilet (no bath) and the bathroom is very small. Please bear this in mind. Bathroom is equipped with stokke baby bath (suitable up to 4yrs) with bath toys. We also have the newborn insert for the baby bath if required. There is also another toilet situated downstairs in the sunroom. There is cot and baby changetable and all the linen to accompany the cot too.

Our guests will enjoy free access to all the amenities which includes the washing machine, fridge, flatscreen TV, DVD Player, wireless broadband internet, all kitchen appliances including toaster, coffee plunger, kettle, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and fans.

We are always available via the Airbnb app or just only a phone call or text away if ever our guests need assistance with anything at all - we love interaction and so happy to offer any handy tips or advice!

You are in Bondi. a short walk from bustle, activity, nightlife, cafes, wine and coffee bars, all on your doorstep, all in abundance.

While you're in the area, you must take the Bondi to Bronte ocean walk. It's a pathway that trails the coast line all the way from Bondi to Coogee Beach. Start from Bondi Beach and walk south toward Bondi Icebergs. Just join the crowds of people making the pilgrimage every day.

The house is located a moments walk from Bondi Road and 15- 20 mins walk to Bondi Beach, 10 minute walk to Bondi Junction and buses/train transport links to Sydney CBD. The house sits amongst a row of beautiful period federation terraces that hug a street of massive old fig trees, it's very picturesque.

Bondi Rd is jam packed with an array of retail services and food/drink supplies. Plenty of yummy goodies from the locally owned bakeries (European/French specialty!) fish monger, fruit and veg shops, butcher, specialty wine store, post office, hairdresser s massage parlour and nail/manicure bars aplenty. There are take out and restaurants from Thai to Turkish to South American to Canadian, Italian to name a few of the cuisine's available. Also there are cafes and an excellent fenced in/enclosed children's playground with cafe at Waverley Oval and great snittys and cheap beer at Waverley Bowling Club. Grab a cookie and coffee from Bennett Street Diary on Bondi Road. The Bellevue Minimart is located around the corner from the house and sells the most delicious bread and small goods. There is also Coffee, Tea and Me cafe around the corner on Old South Head Road, good coffee there too!

Bondi Junction is a 10 min walk from the house and Bondi Beach is a 20 minute walk. The walk to the beach is downhill and the return is uphill or a quick bus ride back is often more desirable on a hot summers day.

The buses are very regular that take you to Bondi Beach from Bondi Road or in the opposite direction to Bondi Junction & the CBD. The house is situated just 50mtrs walk from the 389 bus stop which takes you all the way to the CBD via Bondi Junction for trains to the city & airport also. Trip view is a brilliant app we use to track buses and see timetables. You can also call 131500 or search 131500 on a search engine to find out best transport links and timetables.

The house is situated about 20-40 minutes drive from Sydney International & Domestic Airports it really depends on traffic and time of day.

Sydney has an amazing Uber network so it's very convenient and affordable way to get around.

Parking

Please bear this in mind if you have a car that it is Bondi and finding a park is considered a sport... that said our house is far enough away from the hustle and we ALWAYS find a park within our street or the surrounding streets. If you are arriving on a Friday night between 4-8pm parking is very difficult too, please bear this in mind... Additionally:
Our Street is Watkins Street and the parking is limited to 2hrs from 8am-6pm Monday to Saturday and outside of those times it's unlimited. The surrounding streets (Flood St, New St, Orr St, Bon Accord Ave, Anglesea St) are unlimited parking all the time and we generally park in these streets ourselves as our street is usually empty during the day but busier from 5pm onward. Our street is situated away from the hustle so you will always get a park.

We are a family of 3, Kylie, Nathaniel (Nat) and Louis (Louie - our 18month old toddler son) we live between Bondi and Umina Beach on the Central Coast. Kylie has her own admin business and Nat works in travel and Lou works in the cuteness game. Together we love travelling, the beach, eating out, spending time with our friends and fam.

We LOVE the experiences that Airbnb has brought to our lives, we have met some absolute legends and we are so grateful to be part of this community.
