If you'd like to experience London as a local, look no further. My family and I live in a leafy residential area of London, away from the noise but also within easy reach to central London.
Our home is a semi detached 1930's built house which is quiet typical of this area of London. There is a dedicated guest bathroom which includes towels, shampoo and shower gel. Additional bathroom is downstairs which we are using but if you need it you can use it as well. We provide all our guests with fresh linen , towels and a hair dryer. Although there is NO USE OF A KITCHEN except borrowing plates and cutlery or store your food and drink in the fridge All our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. If at any time you feel anything else is missing, let me know and I am sure we could organize this. There is a FREE wifi throughout the house. We are very flexible with check-in and check-out times, just let us know your requirements.
In terms of location, we are a short bus ride away from Ealing Broadway underground station (central line and district line) where a 20 minute train journey will take you into central London. Ealing Broadway hosts a number of restaurants and will cater to all your shopping needs. Our house is also 20 minutes by overground train from Paddington station. Heathrow is just 20 minute taxi ride away from us.
If you'd like to remain local, there are many options close to our house! One of Fuller's finest pubs is walking distance from us if you'd like to sit in the huge beer garden, have a sumptuous Sunday roast or just want to be part of history as this pub dates back to Georgian times. Pitshanger Village is also close by where you will find one of the best bakeries in West London as well as many delis, cafes and restaurants and pubs. The popular Pitshanger Park is also worth a visit for the wonderful views as well as a game or two of tennis. Other highlights include the River Brent, Gurnell Leisure Centre, Hanwell Clock tower in celebration of King George VI and The Spice of Hanwell restaurant.
We have done our best to try to answer as many questions as we could think of, however if there is anything more you'd like to ask please send me a message. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our home.
As this is our private home, we ask that NO outside guests are brought back to our house. No smoking in the house or cooking in the kitchen.
Thank you for your understanding.
