Great location close to lots of bus services as well as local places to eat, drink and shop. We had a leisurely walk into the city admiring the interesting architecture. Hosts were lovely and accommodating even showed us the art of axe throwing! Would highly recommend!

I booked this room for my mother who had to stay in Dublin because my father had to stay in the hospital. I didn't stay in the BnB myself, but according to my mother it was nice. Kate and Barry were very kind and flexible in making it comfortable for my mother.

Our stay was great. Hosts were super responsive and very informative. Free parking on-site was a plus and hosts were super welcoming and helpful. Couldn’t have been a better place to stay for our first time in Dublin :-)

This may seem odd but their house smelled so good. It wasn't the candles or anything. It indicated to me that their house is truly clean. They take great care of the place which is pretty big and there's a study and a patio. The back room provided a lot of privacy and then you have use of a kitchen- you have to flip the switch on the wall to use the stove. I'm from the US so I wasn't familiar with this. Barry and Kate were very welcoming and made me feel right at home. There's no pretentiousness and there's good conversation if you want and if that's not your thing, that's also ok. I had trouble finding things in a new city of course and was really early for check in. I asked where to grab coffee and food and Barry told me about a coffee shop a 2 minute walk from their house called Foam. I hadn't slept in 25 hours so i thought a latte was in order if I was going to push through the day to adjust to the time change. (I did and I slept on the comfy bed provided with this perfect puffy blanket for 12 hours that night. Beds across the pond are generally firm) Barry came to Foam, introduced himself and was very helpful. I know air bnb hosts are people letting us use their home and I respect that but he offered to carry my bag from the coffee shop which was above and beyond. The buses are easy to use once you figure them out, just look for the 15A. It is your friend. All the buses heading away from their house are passing through downtown and they don't start until 930 am. They live on Terenure (I think south. There's North, South and West) AND they live in Terenure Village. These are things that could help with taxi drivers and buses. It's a long beautiful walk if you want to go to dt dublin or it's a 15 minute ride on the bus. They're just far enough away that you don't have to deal with big city downtown crap and have some peace. Anyway, Kate and Barry are great and their house smells lovely. If you need any pointers at all, just ask them. Enjoy your stay!

Dear Barry, we thank you so much for everything. You are relax and flexible. We have used your kitchen so much to make some fantastic foods. The room was really comfortable. We will visit you if we go back to Ireland!! And we want to tell the lovely French family, not all asia face people come from China. There are also so many countries in Aisa. But thank you, you are also friendly. :) And welcome to visit us when you come to Berlin. It would be interesting!! Best wishes Yu Ching ,Eddy

Such a gentleman! Pure Irish as soon as we got in the door a cup of tea was offered to us both and straight away felt like home! Couldn't have been a nicer and more friendly host to us over the weekend and he will be my first stop if I ever need to go to Dublin again!:)

Hello there! Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space. As a young man growing up in Carlow in Southeast Ireland, my first experiences of adventure and travel were through the books of Roald Dahl! My favourite band ever is 'Faith No More': I love their eclectic sound, they have recorded four phenomenal albums, but most of all I appreciate their sense of humour, especially about the serious things. My top two destinations that I have not yet been to are Cambodia and Antartica. I like to play chess, it's a way of dealing with infinity. I like to play football and swim. The life motto I repeat the most is, "Never be ashamed of what you don't know!", we all walk a different path in this life. My greatest weakness is talking about myself. As a guest I am not fussy: a hot shower, a comfortable place to lay my head and a roof are all I require. If you would like to discuss anything at all over a pint of beer, I will oblige. I really really like science fiction. Kurt Vonnegut is the man. Apparently it is better to talk about a few things a lot than a lot of things a little, but shir I gave it a go!
