The apartment is old, it's true. It was built in the Middle Ages. What would you expect in the historic center of Florence? If you wanted a new apartment you should have looked for one in the suburbs where urbanistic expansion is still possible.
Our home was never a garage. In the last century, it was a silversmith's showroom and before that a milliner's shop and apartment. Long before the entire building was a "spedale," a place for pilgrims to stay in on their way to and from Rome.
All of the furniture is documented in the photos on Airbnb. If you don't like the decor, why did you choose my flat?
My advertisement doesn't say that I have a parking lot. We are in the historic city center that is closed to non-resident private traffic. We are very close to two paid parking areas where you can usually find a place to park. Normally tourists use them, wealthier tourists rent a place in a garage if they come by car.
As far as the cleaning is concerned, you asked to have the cost of cleaning the apartment discounted. Even so, the house was clean when you arrived. It was dusted, the floors had been washed and disinfected, the kitchen and bathroom were cleaned. The shower has stone shelves that were clean, even if they are old.
Our apartment is very quiet. It is set on a garden on the side where the bedroom is located, with no traffic. Most of our guests are surprised at how tranquil it is. The living room is on the street side; the thick walls block most of the noise. Traffic is permitted only for residents and public transportation.
You reserved the room at the last minute and didn't have time to read the description of the flat. That didn't stop you from asking for a discount in place of the cleaning fee and then proceed to criticize everything. How sad.
