To Fernando (our OCTOBER guest): So sorry I did not respond to your comments before the deadline. We were traveling and let the deadline slip by. We are glad you enjoyed your time there too.
And to explain my attention/concern for guests at the time of check-in: So far, I have been on "standy by" around the time of each guest’s arrival. I like to make sure our guests arrive inside the door as easily as possible. So far, no one has needed assistance beyond the instructions sent to each guest in advance. But once on a trip (years ago, before Airbnb was even around), I was a self-check-in guest who had trouble entering the cabin I had rented. So I understand the POTENTIAL for something like that to happen and try to be available for my guests to ensure they get inside and find things clean and comfortable.
