Ditch the flat screen and stale hotel room air. Experience the Newport sailing life. A beautiful 46 ft catamaran waits for you moored in Newport Harbor.
Ideal for two couples or a family of 4, guests have their own hull which provides privacy. Cénou is 46 feet long and 26 feet wide. That gives you over a thousand square feet of usable space on the water! More money than a hotel, but guaranteed to make your holidays memorable.
There are two guest bedrooms a half bathrooms for guest use only and a full bath with enclosed shower. One bedroom has a double bed, another has a small double and a single. The boat is perfect for a family or one to two couples.
The salon and cockpit accommodate six people or more in well ventilated shade. Walking on the wide and clear decks to the foredeck, you will get to a large net suspended over the water between the two bows. It is a great place to hang out.
The vessel is only rented to one person or group at a time. You share the space only with friends or family and the skipper.
The galley is fully equipped with refrigeration, stove and oven.

The skipper is aboard to ensure the safety of the boat. From thousands of miles spent offshore, he knows the balance between being friendly and helpful without intruding.
This is not a handicap accessible space. Being on a boat requires some degree of fitness. If you weigh over 220 pounds you may not find the boat comfortable and I may not be able to accommodate you. Any movement restriction due to weight, injury or surgery must be seriously considered. Please discuss this with me before you book.
This is a boat. We carry our own water. You always need to be mindful of water usage. This means short showers, otherwise known as "navy showers". Use of the ocean is, however, unlimited.

As a licensed “captain” I have sailed tens of thousands of miles and settled into chartering out of Newport, RI for the past few seasons. I enjoy taking people out for an afternoon, a day or days at a time. While Newport is a great destination, it is also a wonderful place to sail out of. I am used to having guests with varying degree of comfort being on the water.
If you are looking to add a different experience to your vacation try a night or two floating in the middle of a harbor. Stepping aboard after a day on land is a vacation within a vacation. And if you start wondering what it is like beyond the harbor, there is an easy fix to that.
Having spent weeks with people in small spaces and no sight of land I can confidently say that I am friendly, I have an easy conversation and I highly value creating a convivial atmosphere.
