A spacious cottage in the village Junosuando. The perfect place for groups of friends or families looking for a quiet stay with optimal chances for experiencing Northern Lights, midnight sun or outdoor pursuits in Lapland. The cottage is a one minute walk from the River Torne. In the summer you can watch the midnight sun moving across the sky above the river. In autumn and winter the sky provides a dark and open backdrop in case the Northern Lights appear.
The cottage is a one level timber building. It has a big dorm style sleeping room, a big main room, kitchen and WC/shower. It is fully equipped with laundry machine, dishwasher, oven, and WiFi. Bed linens and towels are included in your stay.
The cottage is located in the middle of the village Junosuando. Junosuando is a quiet village with about 375 inhabitants. From December to March there are about 15 kilometres of prepared cross-country skiing trails around the village. There is also a good sledding hill. We have cross-country skis and snowshoes to rent in winter.
In the summer you can enjoy swimming in the lake (about 2 km from house). There a plenty of lakes and rivers around the village for fishing. We have a few bicycles and a canoe to rent in summer.
