Beautiful location with ocean views out the living room/dining room windows. Private balcony & awesome location close to downtown shopping & dining. Onsite restaurant/bar. Public transportation available. This is my time share and I come about once a year so I have lots of tips, etc. Here is the description from the building owners:
"Costa Sur has been around for many, many years, more than 30 to be more accurate. This was one of the first hotels built in the South Shore of Puerto Vallarta, overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches on the bay. The building has a very Mexican feel to it, with strong, thick walls and spacious bedrooms all of which have mesmerizing views of Banderas Bay. You can see Los Arcos National Park to the south and on a clear day, all the way north to Punta Mita.
One of the most unique features in Costa Sur is our private beach. This crystal clear ocean lagoon is a paradise for snorkelers and even scuba divers. The rock barrier protects the sandy part of our beach has also worked as a natural reef for a very colorful marine life where you can see all kinds of fish, corals, lobster, octopus and many other species. Make sure to bring your snorkeling gear or rent one with Jose our Activities Director and enjoy this fantastic sea adventure. Paddles and kayaks are also available for an additional cost and are a fun way to explore the lagoon! The water is so clear you will see all the way to the bottom!
Our location makes coming to Costa Sur a fun packed adventure! As you enter the south zone you will see we are in the mountains. Yes, this is where the mountains meet the ocean so you get the best of both worlds! Our mountains are sanctuaries for many bird types and also hide eight different waterfalls. So Costa Sur not only offers a great beach but also invites you to explore the mountains, do some bird watching and hike to one of its many waterfalls.
Can you believe all of this is only 10 minutes away from downtown Vallarta? Well believe it because it is true. Costa Sur is only a short cab or bus ride to downtown where a very different Puerto Vallarta comes to life as a sophisticated but still traditionally Mexican city! "
