Description

This top level, full floor panoramic penthouse features modern amenities and breathtaking views of the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, Coit Tower & Sausalito. THIS AD IS FOR ONE PRIVATE BEDROOM AND SHARED BATHROOM, NOT THE ENTIRE APARTMENT. THANKS FOR READING! :-)

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS A THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT, THERE MAY BE ANOTHER AIRBNB GUEST LIKE YOURSELF IN THE OTHER BEDROOM. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK ME SO I CAN SET THE RIGHT EXPECTATIONS BEFORE BOOKING.

I have a nicely finished three-bedroom apartment that I would love to share with you! Additionally, if you are flying in from either SFO or OAK and I AM NOT AT WORK! I am happy to pick you up from the airport.

I also have the master suite for rent WITH A PRIVATE BATHROOM, and that ad can be seen here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1932656

Your private room has a queen sized bed with a Tempurpedic mattress. The private room comes with a shared bathroom. It is spacious and clean and is bright with lots of windows and full afternoon sun. You also have access to the balcony directly from your bedroom so you can drink in the view!

I provide clean bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, toothpaste, and many other amenities that you would expect from a five-star hotel plus more. Additionally, I am always willing to help if you need anything else (cell phone/laptop charger) to have a more comfortable stay.

The rest of the apartment has a fully functional kitchen (dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking utensils included), washer/dryer, fridge with freezer, ice maker, gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher.

High-speed Comcast (150/10 Mbps) Wi-Fi is included and also listed in the living room is a 50" Panasonic flat screen TV with DIRECTV, so you have hundreds of HD channels to view.

The living room has a spectacular view of Alcatraz, Sausalito, the Financial District, Coit Tower, Bay Bridge, and the East Bay Hills. Your bedroom also has views of the Financial District, Coit Tower, Bay Bridge, and Russian Hill. Your room has a sliding glass door entrance to an outdoor balcony overlooking the Bay Bridge, Financial District, Coit Tower, and Russian Hill.

PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND: I LIVE ON THE TOP FLOOR OF MY BUILDING AND ITS 26 STEPS UP (THREE levels), WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR.
NO SMOKING & NO PETS (I am sorry)!

THIS AD IS FOR ONE PRIVATE BEDROOM WITH A SHARED BATHROOM ONLY, NOT THE ENTIRE APARTMENT!

The condo is modern and nicely furnished, with DirecTV (including HBO), wireless internet, brand new front loading washer & dryer in the unit, iron/ironing board, fireplace, and balcony.

You are more than welcome to use the kitchen (and everything in it; new, stainless steel appliances installed in September 2013), living room, and balcony.

Street parking in this area is difficult, but there are parking garages a few blocks away (if you must have a car).

I host on Airbnb for the social aspect and of San Francisco and while I do not have the expectation for us to become best friends, a little social interaction is definitely an ingredient for a superb stay. After hosting guests from over twenty unique countries, I am grateful for the many incredible people that I have met and things that I have learned about our world along the way. Let me know how I can help better your time in the city even if you do not end up staying with me. I love sharing the little bit that I know about this wonderful city.

Location, Location, Location:

-Two blocks away from the famed curvy Lombard Street and cable car to Union Square
-Easily accessible to wide variety of entertainment including boutique shops, bars, and restaurants located on Polk street 1 block away.
-Five minutes walk to some of San Francisco's most beloved attractions including Ghiradelli Square and Pier 39.

My home has the rarity of being within on the same block of three different neighborhoods. Situated in Russian Hill, you are also at the junction of North Beach (Little Italy) and Fisherman's Wharf. This makes it very convenient to walk everywhere. My home is two blocks away from the world famous part of (Most Crooked) Lombard Street. Walk two blocks in a different direction and you are at the cable car line that will take you directly to Union Square where you can find every shopping delight you can imagine!

From this location, you won't need a car to see the most popular sights of San Francisco.
The POWELL-MASON CABLE CAR is two blocks away, the #30/STOCKTON bus to/from Union Square and the Marina District (including the Palace of Fine Arts, and transfer to a bus that goes to the Golden Gate Bridge); buses and streetcars to other areas are nearby as well.

Car Shares, Scooters, and more...
For travelers who do NOT need a car for their entire visit, car sharing is available from Getaround, City CarShare, and RelayRides, and there are several nearby Zipcar locations: go to zipcarsf. Also…the website FlightCar lists cars owned by private individuals that are available for pick up at SFO at less cost than the corporate rental companies; there are several car, bicycle rental shops in the neighborhood; there is even a motor scooter website, go to scootnetworks.

Taxis & Uber
Traditional taxicabs, Lyft, and Uber cars are readily available. Download the Lyft and Uber phone apps to order cars from anywhere. They're awesome!

Private Vehicles
Visiting San Francisco is easiest WITHOUT a car, and note there is no on-site parking. If you do want to have a car in San Francisco, be sure to plan ahead, as street parking can be difficult in most neighborhoods. There is free parking in the residential streets near my home, but only for a maximum of 2 hours between 8 AM and 9 PM Monday through Saturday; overnight parking is not restricted, and there are no restrictions between 9 PM on Saturday and 8 AM on Monday. Several paid lots/garages are within a three-block radius, rates vary, go to parkopedia for details and North Beach locations.

Major Bay Area transportation hubs are nearby:
• Caltrain Depot: about 2 miles
• Pier 43 Ferry Terminal: less than 1 mile
Ferry Building Terminal is at Pier 1: about 1.5 miles
• San Francisco International Airport: about 16 miles

I DO NOT CHARGE ALL THE EXTRA FEES THAT OTHERS DO SUCH AS A CLEANING FEE, WEEKEND PRICING, ADDITIONAL GUEST FEES, OR A DEPOSIT. NOT TO MENTION A RIDE TO AND FROM SFO/OAK AIRPORT (ONLY WHEN I AM IN TOWN). WHEN YOU TAKE ALL THE HIDDEN COSTS INTO ACCOUNT, NO ONE CAN GIVE YOU THE TYPE OF VALUE I PROVIDE TO MY GUESTS!! :-)

Marie and I moved from Europe to San Francisco and by doing so fulfilled our dreams (living in San Francisco). Our apartment is in an excellent location, so we are always out trying new restaurants and fun places. My parents have been employed by some of the finest hotels in the world such as the Four Seasons and I look forward to exceeding that level of service to you.

I have been a sales pro for as long as I can remember, and technology is my passion. My other passion is college football (US), I bleed Husker Red and still manage to make it to most of their games, regardless of where I am living during football season.

Some say I have traveled a lot, I don't think I have traveled enough. I've visited five continents: Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, and Europe. Lived in three of them: Africa, North America, and Europe. Leaving South America and Antarctica to check out before I check out.

I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.
-Thomas Jefferson 3rd president of US (1826)
