We love to meet our guests and help you to enjoy this lovely part of the world but the Garden Room is your own separate space. You can pop in and out as you please or come to visit us in the main house if you wish.
The Garden Room is self contained accommodation. The kitchen area has a sink and fridge (no freezer). We do have microwave, an induction hotplate, a kettle and toaster. There is a welcome pack of Fairtrade tea, coffee and hot chocolate for you, also milk, biscuits, bread, fruit, cereals and a few basics for your breakfast.
We also don't have a washer or dryer available in the Garden Room although we can make washing facilities available on request.
There is WiFi but no television, but you can watch DVDs and read books we have to share with you.
There are plenty of footpaths, and woods next door to explore. We are just outside Bath so we are surrounded by hills. The walk to the bus stop takes 5 or 10 minutes but it is quite steep going up but easier coming home! There isn't a pavement up to the village but the lanes are frequently used by dog walkers and horse riders, probably more than cars. Take a look at the street view online website if you want to get a better idea. Webbs Cottage has the white door.
There are many, many wonderful places to go and things to see and do within easy reach of us. Here is a random list - look them up on the internet for more information

Good walks from New Buildings include a ramble across the fields to Camerton Church or a mile or so up the lane to the hamlet of Carlingcott. There you can follow Angela's trail of mosaic snails (how many can you find!).
NB For guest safety there is a fire extinguisher, fire blanket and smoke alarm in the Garden Room. Electrical appliances are PAT tested annually. This is our sole listing, and whilst a self-contained unit in our garden, it is part of our family home. We are approved for holiday accommodation by our local authority. The Garden Room complies with all regulations and we pay UK taxes. Staying with us will contribute to our local economy. We look forward to meeting you!

I'm sorry we don't have facilities suitable for dogs - although we love them. We have successfully managed to accommodate children with an airbed on the floor and we also have a cot and highchair. Please ask.
Apart from that we aim to be easy going hosts and hope that you will leave things as you would like to find them.
The kids have grown up and are leaving home. We have both taken early retirement. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our lovely surroundings with you! Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Please feel free to share the books in the Garden Room, chosen by Jane. We can advise on the best places to visit and the most delicious places to eat. We have been trying them out on your behalf!
We love New Buildings, a quiet location with plenty of countryside walks and woods to enjoy and observe wildlife.
We hope you will enjoy this too!
