Enjoy your night’s stay on a small hobby farm. We have chickens, ducks, rabbits, and quail. Fresh farm eggs for breakfast! There is an organic farmer's market on Saturdays less than 1 mile away. We're a 6 minute drive from the beach at PJ Hoffmaster State Park with beautiful trails to walk through. 10 minute drive to Grand Haven where they have cute local shops, breweries, and homemade waffle cones with ice cream and more. 35 minutes from Grand Rapids with lots of events and activities.
The house is newly renovated and on 5 acres. The room is simple and cozy. We live fairly simply. We often enjoy grilling outside and sitting at the farm table for dinner. You have full access to the house, kitchen, bathrooms, living room, tv, grill, fire pit, etc. The birds are free-range during the day and all friendly. We coop them up at night. Please keep in mind the animals do make some noise, it's quiet at night but the ducks sometimes have a lot to say in the morning :). FYI - We don't have any roosters.

As much or as little as you want. We will plan on letting you be, however, if you're looking for activities, directions, good conversation, a wine drinking buddy, we can help with that too!
We have a fire pit, farm table outside, (if in season) tomatoes growing on the vine free for picking, fresh farm eggs for breakfast. We live on 5 acres so you can take a stroll through the woods.
We have a long driveway for plenty of parking.

I lived in Chicago for 10 years as a graphic designer. Now I live on 5 acres in Spring Lake, MI. I switched pavement for trees. I am small hobby farmer (brand new at it) still designing but focusing on food and animals. I strive to be creative and make things interesting. Outside of the boardroom, I like camping, hiking and fishing. I love food and cooking! I am, daily, excited about coming up with recipes to create and eat when I am home at night.
