Thank you Beverley, as you stated you didn't read the listing or house rules before booking where it clearly states a guest can pay those fees upfront through AirBnB or upon check-in. My previous guests, both International and Australian, have all read and accepted the house rules and listing description, and this is the first time there has ever been an issue. Previous guests appreciated the option to pay upon check in to avoid having multiple deposits outstanding when staying at more than one accommodation. The option has always been well received as it saves having to wait several weeks for the refund which can mean a large amount of money can be blocked off from their travel budget when staying at multiple accommodations.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the unit and appreciated its luxury, cleanliness, and convenience. I pride myself on offering a clean and comfortable accommodation. I'm always thrilled when a guest enjoys visiting the city and appreciates the unit's great location to everything it has to offer. The facilities at the building and the neighbourhood truly do offer everything you could need for a great stay.
I would recommend in future that You Read All the listing and the full house rules before you make a booking. As you do acknowledge you have read the house rules and agree to the owners terms and conditions when you send through your booking with AirBnb and it is a legal agreement you are ‘signing’.
