Cabin in Paradise is self sufficient on acreage. Full power, water, septic, and your own yard. Swing in front yard, private fire pit in the back yard. Gardens and chickens across the fence in owners yard. Very peaceful rural family environment. We no longer accept pets due to recent events.

If you wish you can bring your firewood, or buy ours, to burn in the fire pit outside. A tote of firewood is $10, but we usually have alot of wood piled by the fire pit and this is free to burn of course. Firewood for the woodstove inside is free and encouraged to burn all you can to keep you toasty and warm and keep the electricity bills low.
Cabin has 2 bedrooms. One with one queen size and one single bed. There is hide a bed in front of the wood stove in the living room, and bunk beds in the other bedroom, so, nightly capacity is 7 adults in two rooms.

There is a TV and a VCR player with nice collection of movies.

Lovely large soaker tub in clean white bathroom. Bedding, towels and everything you need for your stay is provided. Your home away from home!

Lots of parking, 4 communal bicycles. We offer storage space for equipment (bikes, skis, etc). Very friendly hosts.

Strong 4 bar Wifi is at The Cabin, but on a limited plan, so please just stick to email and basic browsing. Router is on a timer and is off from 10:30pm to 7:30am so we all have restfull WiFi free sleeps. (but this can be adjusted to your needs as well)

Thousands of bald eagles winter here and can be readily viewed often right from cabin

The Squamish River Valley (drive- 10 min away from The Cabin) has long been recognized as one of the most significant areas of wintering bald eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) in North America.

Make sure you will stop by and enjoy eagle watching in Brackendale Eagles Provincial Park (just 10 min drive from The Cabin).

Also October is a great season for mushroom picking! Chanterelles with a fruity odor and earthy fragrance are out there in the bush ready to be picked up by you.

It is our hope that you will leave feeling rested and reconnected to nature.

We will be happy to answer all your questions!

See you soon!

Autres remarques
We do have a no pets policy as this seems to be the best idea for 99% of our guests. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
About kids, our policy is that if you require extra beds then we would appreciate if you add them as guests. This is to be fair to the extra cleaning and laundry involved.
Please message us with your particular needs and we will do our best to accommodate your plans.

Peaceful and quiet area on a non-through road. A fish hatchery is 400m down the road and is open everyday to the public. Many trails start from here like the one to Brohm lake.
Six lakes are within ten minutes drive of the cabin. Alice lake is 10km away and is a very kid friendly provincial park with a lovely 4 lakes trail which is 7km (4.5miles) long.

We are a very outgoing and active family full of beautiful girls. We are loving our Airbnb experience because it is showing us how beautiful people really are. We are a multi-interests' family, with hobbies as far ranging as gardening and hobby farming to skiing, dirt-biking and snowmobiling. We try not to speak English in the house to perfect our French, Russian, Spanish and Mandarin that we are learning. We play piano, eat organic, read labels, still have an analogue meter, heat with wood, have no cable TV and turn our Wifi off at night. We research ALOT! We love people but live in the woods. We treasure peace and tranquility and hope to share this with others. Natalia is an Elementary School Teacher and Alan is a Timber Evaluator / Forestry Consultant. We hope to see you soon, One Love, Alan and Natalia 8
