I'm sorry you had such a negative experience. The AC was working when you arrived; at such short notice I could only provide a fan. For the subway I can only throw up my hands and agree with you--it's a mess for all New Yorkers, the sad result of years of neglect. No matter where you stay, one needs public transportation can let you down in NY and require expensive and lengthy cab rides. I'm writing to the mayor!
About the other complaints, I can only say I wish you had told me at the time so I could have changed towels, sheets and anything offensive in the bathroom. Your review, which was available to me only after your left, is the first notice I received of the problem. As you can see from our many reviews, almost all 5 stars, these are not problems associated with our apartment. I am happy to offer you compensation and would have done so if I had known the full extent of the issue.
