This little pearl of a 1 room flat is situated in the pulsating, multicultural and hip area of Nørrebro. Though placed on small a quiet street, everything is within 5mins walking distance. The area offers an abundance of supermarkets, coffee shops, the cheapest bars in Cph, cinema, small shopping streets with specialties and local design, a historic lush cemetery where famous Danes such as H.C. Andersen, Søren Kierkegaard and Niels Bohr are buried. The variety of trees is only outnumbered by the botanical gardens. Locals use the place as a park.
Bus service is a mere stone's throw away, connecting you to any given city part. You will be in the city center within 10mins by bus, or you stroll there on foot on a sunny day. Most Copenhageners travel by bicycle though, renting one would be just the thing to do if you want to catch the true Copenhagen vibe :) if I'm out of the city myself, you will be left mine to your disposal.
The flat features:
- one fairly big room with double futon bed, dinner table, couch corner, lots of plants and even a piano (which needs tuning)
- a separate fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and access to big green shared back yard, perfect for breakfast/coffee or a BBQ in the summertime
- a small bathroom with shower and floor heating in the winter
- all the above connected by small hallway
The flat is the perfect base to go explore Cph or even to stay in on a rainy day. Former guests have been more than pleased with the homy, personal, unpretentious space my flat provides.
