We live in a quite neighborhood just 4km to the city centre if you are looking for restaurants, museums and night life. If you would like to venture into nature, the river bike path is about 1km away. The trails are long and beautiful. On Sundays in the summer from 9:00am-1:00pm the city closes down our parkways for cars. This allows cyclist, runners and rollerbladers to travel for miles without traffic. If you like hiking, the Gatineau hills are about 20kms.
We live in a quite neighborhood close to the city. We love to go to Bobby's restaurant for breakfast. Bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for $3.99
As I indicated earlier there is free parking in front of the house. If you plan on taking local transit to get around the city, the bus is a block away.
