Mows (co-host): Thanks for your feedback! For starters, we have hosted plenty of guests from all over and never have we received such feedback on the following matters.
The neighborhood is a hip, safe, family-friendly, and multicultural strip at the cusp of the more crowded, hustle and bustle side of DC. The guest reached out to ask our recommendations for Ethiopian restaurants, so I took it that she has an appreciation for such diversity. Also, Tracey did not communicate any of her amenable concerns to us mid-stay- this is the first time we're hearing any of this.
As for the feeling of sneaky feeling, that's surely a first- as residents that's the primary door we use! Unfortunately my complex does not offer a concierge desk. However I do usually hand off the keys to guests after cordially greeting them into our friendly abode but Tracey checked-in around 9PM so we didn't have the pleasure.
As for the suggested entrance, this is all explained in the manual. We recommend guests to use the side door because we do the same, in the interest of convenience i.e. free street parking, unloading/loading luggage/groceries, etc. Please feel free to use the front entrance. FYI, its an unnecessary journey through the building halls through stairs or elevator.
