The appartment is situated right in the heart of the old part of town, nextdoor to the castle where Queen Victoria used to reside, the theatre and the park, leading up to the Veste Coburg. The penthouse and the terrasse has a breathtaking view of the the city towers and the surrounding green hills.
The historical house was renovated with architectural guidance and our penthouse appartment (about 160 m²), is located on the 3rd and 4th floor. It will be a pleasure for us to welcome you here.
The flat has a masterbedroom with an double bed, 160 cm and a guest bedroom with a queensize bed, 140 cm. In the guest bedroom we also have a loft bed on the open ceiling beams (kids will love it) that measures about 120 cm. In the wintergarden we have another possibility for 2 people to sleep ( 140 cm).
Next to the bathroom, with shower and tub, we have a small sauna.
The kitchen is well equipped, the only thing we do not have is a microwave oven.
The living room offers a big table with 6 chairs, in the wintergarden there is another possibility to serve dinner for 6.
During the summer month you can take the wintergarden furniture onto the ajoining terrasse to sit or have meals there.
There is a private parking spot in the courtyard right next to the main entrance of the house, that you are welcome to use.

I live in the lovely city of Coburg, right in the center of Germany. It is a wonderful place to live, offering everything I need: theatre, cinema, shopping, nice cafés and restaurats.
I also enjoy being out in the country - spending time in the countryside around the city of Coburg provides me with new energy.
My deep interest is art, especially sculptur. I try to spent as much time as possible, doing creative things. My employer is an architect. I do office work there, but also get to do special assignments, jobs that require imagination and give me a chance to use my crafting skills. I also have an odd passion for historcal buildings that still show traces of their age and decay.
We go sailing about once a year, mostly on the costline of Croatia. A few years ago we spent two weeks sailing a boat in Cuba, a trip that was really exciting.
Travelling is a source of inspiration to me. I love spending time in France, exploring ancient towns in the southern part, but actually, getting to see new places anywhere is great. Staying at peoples places they offer on airbnb has been a wonderful discovery.
