It has been a great pleasure to have Peter and Ana stay in our little apartment. For me these are the perfect tenants: clean, diligent and careful. So much appreciated their attention to the detail that we have built-in to this place. When I met both of them privately I realised that they are kind, fair, open-minded, outgoing and communicative people. Enjoyed sharing among us impressions and experiences from across cultures.

Thank you for your feedback. Security deposit is standard procedure in the rental business. You tried to avoid it, and that raised the first sign of suspicion. The rental contract stems from a validated template with standard terms that are used by landlords. If you call " a constraint" and "not legal" the request to handle the premise and inventory with care, I am afraid this does raise concerns, and even more suspicion. The apartment with its 16m2 of floor space (see text in the ad) has been designed based on the most possible ergonomic principles. Indeed it has not been necessary to move any of the tables, as they are both positioned well for study and eating. At least for all other tenants that lived in the apartment. Of course you are free to re-arrange furniture at your convenience. The toilet was brand new and fully cleaned at check-in. Yet you left the bathroom and toilet in the most unacceptable state that we experienced so far with tenants (including bad smell etc.), ... mildly spoken. A set of bed linen and towels has been offered twice for change, yet at that point the communication with you already broke down: we never got any answers from you again. The pricing is set according to season, according the high level of standard of the premise (fully modernized), according to its location close to the castle and park, and including all charges of bills, fees for service, final cleaning, taxes, insurance etc. A bottle of wine and Nespresso coffee pads have been given to you for free. Deposit has been refunded within 5 days of rental term. You have told us later that you had no access to your credit card account until eom, so not sure how you could state here a delay in the procedure. You have unexpectedly informed us of your decision to leave 6 days earlier than agreed in the rental. We were particularly shocked when you announced a "very bad review" if we would not refund a substantial amount of the rent. To us your approach is clearly beyond any legitimacy, ethics and integrity. Besides: we found the premise in a highly concerning state. Dirty, with damages to the ground floor and kitchen. In 20 years of experience in seasonal lets your case is exceptionally unusual: an overall dishonest and partly almost evil, questionable appearance from the day you moved in. For our team you been most difficult to deal with, and we noticed highly "inconsistent" manners and stances altogether.
