Idéalement situé
100 % des voyageurs ayant récemment séjourné à proximité ont attribué 5 étoiles à l'emplacement du logement.
I'm tucked up in the jungle and a short 15 minute walk (1.3 km) to the beach. The location is ideal for a jungle experience. Wake up to howler monkeys, hummingbirds, toucans, and all types of chirping critters. I've got an long time local beekeeper family and a fourth generational Caribean family as neighbors. If you want an authentic experience you won't go wrong staying here. It's away from the nightlife yet close enough that the cab ride will only set you back 10 minutes and $4 one way.

Le logement
The three story house.

The first floor has a full kitchen for your use and is also used as a plant infusion area. The sitting area converts to 2 twin beds and has a private full bathroom. It also walks out onto the back patio where a dining table and three hammocks await you. It's currently being remodeled.

The second room has a queen bed. The third room has a king with an additional single bed, inflatable mattress, and card table for rainy days. There is a shared full bathroom on this floor.

All three bathrooms have hot showers and each floor has its own balcony or patio and hammocks and sitting chairs.

The top floor is my personal space and art studio. I’ve hung one twin bed on a pulley that can be lowered and houses my queen bed. There is also a full private bathroom. It’s available for rental most of December, all of May, June, July, August, and 1/2 of September.

The front house.

Has a full bathroom. This shower does not have hot water, Queen bed and sitting area. This is also where breakfast is found. The kitchen has an oven if you'd like to bake.

If you rent the "entire house" this includes the shared little house and my personal space. Message me and I can send the whole house option link.

Accès des voyageurs
Guests have their own kitchen and bathrooms. The common areas are open to all guests. Breakfast is in the small front house every morning from 7:30 to 10:30.

Autres remarques
I host a farm to table supper club from time to time. The cost is $50 for an appetizer welcome, unlimited wine, 4 course meal, and a jazz trio or theatre during dinner.

Limón, Costa Rica

Within 1.4 km you will arrive at the main road and walking path to the beach. There’s a great restaurant at the base and numerous cafes and restaurants within a short distance in both directions.

Our little paradise hosts numerous funky, upgraded restaurants and bars with some truly talented musicians!

Scuba diving is approximately 15 min by bike heading south after meeting the main road and 10 min the opposite direction is beginner to intermediate surfing!!!

We are also known for our jaguar, turtle, and sloth rescue centers. This is not to be confused with refuge centers that keep the animals in captivity. Ours rehabilitate them and let them back into the wild! I love that!

We have some great yoga centers and Om yoga, my favorite is in the photos.

Hi. I'm passionate with nature and being outdoors, pretty much every activity as long as it is outside. Overnight whitewater kayaking/rafting trips and back country overnight hut trips and playing hockey are my favorite! Tele-mark skiing & rock climbing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and hiking for fall mushrooms on my little 125cc Cafe racer are also amongst my favorites. I also LOVE to cruise around in my van (named Vangogh) to new places for surfing (FYI; I'm horrible, I swim more than "surf" so don't ask for lessons). As for inside, I love anything artistic/creative, singing, dancing, working on greasy things, and my passion is to fly fixed wing airplanes which I do in Alaska the summers. I absolutely love to travel and cook! I've hosted farm table dinners in multiple countries and on 3 different continents. I'm also an artist/designer as my full time profession and currently taking prep courses for Bastyr's Doctoral program; an Integrative Medical School. I'd eventually like to see myself using my flying in combination with my language skills, travel skills, and medical education to help people in remote areas. I'd also like to create an organization preserving plant medicine, traditional healing practices and the natural habitats of said plant medicines. Eventually I will have an "Agriturismo-(italian)" with an area dedicated for my medical practice which will work in trade for whatever the person has to offer... an artist studio/workshop, Vineyard, herb and spice garden, vegetable garden, chickens, orchard, areas sectioned off for weary travelers and my favorite part.. a huge, long table with bright colored bulbs hanging overhead where I will occasionally host community dinners. This is my dream!!!! I have actually never taken a "vacation" but I've lived in a lot of places. I travel to immerse myself and typically will stay in an area for months and in some cases years. I ticked which languages I speak below but to be precise, I speak English, Spanish, and French fluently (which means write, read, and speak) and I am only conversational in Italian, I understand Portuguese, and get by in Swiss German. My life motto?? Hmmm I guess I would have to say it is "Live it, Don't watch or talk about it." I carry "The Prophet" by Khalil Gibran and the Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz wherever I go.
