No building amenities, really. One person cleans the corridors daily, but is not available to attend to dwellers' other needs. Shall anything unexpected happen regarding the property, please contact me immediately to seek appropriate help.

I probably won't be in town during your stay, but a person I trust will conduct your check in and out, and address any additional issues. I will make sure to provide you with the necessary contacts and instructions.
Please keep in mind that, despite the excellent location and charming ambience, both the building and my apartment are a bit old and worn out, and has none but the basic amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Forniture is sparse. My internet connection is good, with good wifi, but, as of mid-2017, I don't have a TV set to offer. Currently there's no central heating or gas supply in the building, so all appliances (including air and water heating) are electric. The electric pot heater is quite basic, so cooking is not encouraged. There's a microwave, minifridge, plus tons of restaurants and delivery services in the area.
Please make sure to unplug all appliances (specially the water heater in the bathroom) when you leave. Avoid locking yourself out or losing the keys (each set costs 25-30 US dollars, deductible from your deposit). Please avoid smoking inside the apartment.
I'm a single Argentine anthropologist in his early fifites living in Rio de Janeiro. Besides seeking accomodation for both my leisure and business travelling, I offer rooming in my two-bedroom-three-bathroom terraced Rio apartment and full occupancy of my one-bedroom Buenos Aires period flat. I also manage a family beach house in Florianópolis, frequently offered for rental.
