For us, there were pros and cons. First the pros. The apartment is very nicely furnished and in a great part of Quito near many good restaurants and the mall if you're interested in that sort of thing. It is right across from the park and not far, by cab, from the old town and the Teleférico. The apartment is in a secure building with a locked door and a very friendly and helpful staff at the desk. And, the shower is great! The price is also very good for the value. Now the cons. As others have commented, there is a lot of noise from the street. And, for some reason, there is an open space in the window in the living room, so it is even noisier. Also, on our last night the people next door had an all-night party that kept us awake. I believe that someone else experienced this too. Also, it should be noted that there is only one bed. In the living room there is a fold-out futon, but it angles down and isn't flat. Our 6-year old didn't mind sleeping on it, but I can't imagine an adult wanting to sleep like that. There weren't enough towels for the three of us and after a day, Natasha responded to our request for more towels and toilet paper. Also, she was very nice to arrange a ride to the airport on our last day. All in all, I would recommend the cozy suite for two people who don't mind a lot of city and street noise.
