Large, airy room with ensuite bathroom in an early Victorian Town house, overlooking private gardens and the sea. Quiet and peaceful. 5 minutes from the sea.
This is a large, sunny room with its own spacious bathroom, looking out over private gardens, in an early Victorian house in a secluded corner of St Leonards' bohemian quarter. It is really peaceful here with private communal gardens in front of this row of beautiful villas. We have our own large garden with studios at the back.
We are just 5 minutes walk from the sea and a 30 minute walk along the seafront to the historic old town with its unique fishing fleet on the beach. We are 10 mins from the train station taking you directly to London and fashionable Brighton. The room is large and airy with a comfortable double bed with cotton sheets and its own en suite bathroom. It looks out onto the lovely communal garden. We can accommodate a carry cot or put up an extra single bed for a child. We are on a private road so it is very peaceful and quiet. Parking is available.
We have wi-fi and limited parking. A simple breakfast of tea/coffee toast, homemade preserves and cereal is available on request and is included.

We have a piano if anyone feels the urge to play.
This is our family home. We are artists/teachers and our home is lived in and a bit frayed at the edges. We make sure everything is clean for our guests but if you are looking for somewhere modern and immaculate this may not be for you! However, if you do come, a warm welcome awaits you.
No smoking in the house please.
I work in education as an efl teacher. I am also an artist as is my husband. I enjoy cooking, gardening and swimming and have 3 children aged 17, 23 and 25. We enjoy being outdoors and our favourite thing is to go to our beach hut and swim in the sea . We love good food, music, art and films- all the good things in life!
